Why do you even mess with Humalin R?

I have been reading around here recently and I see people saying humalin R is ok.... why? It has a longer duration, peaks slower and lower than humalog?
And please tell me you all shoot it IM...
Just wondering, I want to help out as much as I can... I know a little about it :D
 
Humalog is better yes, but humulinr can still be used with good results....I don't think anybody was saying that r was better, were they? Different strokes for different folks I guess. :D

I agree with ya though... what have your results been like with humalog? Care to share your experiences? There's always more room for slin info. :)

If you want slin info I can bring it :D or you can look in my sig....

Anyway. I have not used R.... but why? I dont want to monitor myself for 4 hours.... and from what I can gather, I dont think it peaks as high. And I know the onset time is around 25-40 min..... thats almost too long for PWO for what we use it for...

I love log, I use it from time to time..... use CEE with it, and its solid gains everytime....
 
I don't know too much about slin, but can't you get R at any local pharm without a script, whereas you need a script/order online for humalog? Also, with a faster onset and higher peak, isn't there a greater risk involved with Humalog? Then again R's longer duration also presents it's own danger. As I said, I really don't know much about slin, just trying to offer some answers. :)

Well, you technically don't HAVE to have a script to get humalog :). I would think there is a much greater risk in Huma-R than Log, since the log clears much faster. Either way, I'll take Mr. Sparkle's advice. Good to see you over here man :welcome: .

intv..... just because it peaks higher and faster doesnt mean its "more dangerous" its all in carb timing.... ;)
 
The reason why some bros use the Hum R is probably due to what they can get. They may want the Humalog but if they can only get the Hum R, then they'll take that instead of not using it at all, know what I mean? Some pharmacists are mutherphuckers, and might not let u purchase Humalog. I haven't used slin yet, but "yet" is the key word there. I have been researching it and plan on using it (assuming i can get it haha) in the next month or so. I wanna use Humalog, due to the shorter duration. P everybody
 
Is cost not a factor as well? So price AND availability may be the reason.

Not to hijack but is it common to go IM? I just got my script (novorapid) and have been doing it subQ for the most part.

SubQ sucks.....
IM only... It almost cuts duration and peak time in half...
Which is totally want we need
 
off season use humulin r becuase it allows me to be at a anabolic state much longer

pre contest humalog, time my fatty meals around injections


use gh with both
 
R is easy to get. The reason I don't do liquid AAS is the same reason I do sub q with insulin. I'm not sticking **** into my muscles and there's no one else I know that would do it for me.

It's really not that bad man...and just to let you know, some people actually hurt more from sub-q than intramuscular.

If your shooting IM what size pins are u using and if possible where are u getting them?
 
Well, some use slin to prolong IGF activity, which would be better with Humulin R.

Also, it could be said that on an all-out bulking attempt (won't argue the smarts there) then a longer duration is better as you have a longer window for nutritional intake without the ups and downs. Also longer duration of SHBG reduction.
 
For me, I would much prefer to use humalog but I can't get it. I even tried ordering online from Canada but it was seized - I got a customs letter and everything!

Slin pins IM dont hurt at all. I would rather pin than eat some methyls anyday.

You in Lawr....?
