--Edit....I'm to late :ouch:

Received mine today. Waiting for review thread to be opened. (It won't let me open one)

Taste: 8 not sure if a true vanilla but more of a vanilla caramel kind of taste.

Mix ability: 10 a few shakes in 8 ounces water and it was good to go.

Overall: 9 trying with my son later to see if he likes it but was good to use as a switch for me of not.Invalid Link Removed

Received mine as well today. Waiting on my insider order with the other flavor to arrive on Wed before reviewing both.

Invalid Link RemovedI use orgain plant based but my main source is blended turkey up to 2lbs per day. I will put your product head to head with the turkey or use with the turkey and report results.

Blended turkey? How does that go exactly?

Been trying for years to blend , finally figured out how to make it work. Buy large turkey breast or chicken. Cook all chicken and add one or two breast to shake. Usually turkey is procooked so with both I just add boiling water blend for a minute. Then add frozen fruit, coconut oil honey, msm and other hard pill supplements , creating, glutamine. Then blend again until smooth , it's good hot like soup in the winter or cold in the summer. Just got oats so next week I will be adding oats. Best thing is I have complete control of my weight. If I go on a 6 mile hike I know I will loose 4-5 pounds , so I drink one or two glasses if hiking , running is different. Mason jars in the cooler for my 4 hr drive to the airport . This diet is so clean that you have to dirty up sometimes and have lots of ice cream and pizza or a big steak.

I hated it and quit several times untill I got the formula correct. Btw I'm 50 and after a brutal fight at the toughman competition my jaw did not work to good and I spit a tooth out. Liquid diet was ready to go and I did not loose much weight.

Nicksox15 , you are drinking a soy smoothie that is why you threw up in your mouth. Soy can cause an estrogen response , a lot of people cut soy out completely including myself.

Serious, cut soy about 6 months ago , and I can finally see the lower ab . Take my word or do a few hundred hours of research and you will discover the same thing I did about soy. Btw it sucks because I like all things soy and always thought it was the perfect protein , it's not.

I said I threw up in my mouth a little bit because your concoction sounded horrible, not due to any soy I may have taken, lol

Now I really want to try this vegan blend , but I might order anyway , how about a send me some and I will do a full on before and after with Picts , I'm already pretty ripped but my research shows a blend of plant based with animal protein has a synergy that may improve results.
Common guys lets prove it out.

That's obvious, it does sound bad but all I care about are results. Post your pic let's see how the soy is working for you.

Lol, have a good day sir. I don't even take soy daily, nor did I say i did. Also maybe read threads before asking for free stuff.

Don't need any free stuff , but genuinely interested in a real test. Yeah the give away was over and I did not see that.
------- soy is in almost everything sir-----
You posted you drink soy shakes so whatever.

actually that's supposed to taste pretty good. I'd try it myself too but I don't have a powerful enough blender.

You don't really believe that soy is that detrimental to a person's physique right?

Anyways, got my 6 tubs in today 4 vanilla and 2 chocolate

PEScience select protein review!!!

This product caught me off guard at first but is more than a knockout for its category!

Taste: 4/5 I'm hard to please but this was hands down better than any other vegan protein I've had and I've had 4 to date.

Mixibility: 5/5 10oz of water went great. 8z of almond milk was great! Much smoother in the blender and no caked residue on the bottom corner

Value: 20g of protein and 27 servings a container make this a steal in the value department!

Overall 5/5 This brown rice and pea protein supplement is a definte option for those overly obsessive about thei r sugar, carb, and fat intake. Very easy on the stomach and filling without bloat. I will be buying for future use! Thanks bdccarpenter for the opportunity to try and enjoy!

I liked it too....PES was nice enough to send a bottle after constant begging. I use too not have to beg..

could you say anything about the flavor?

I cracked open the vanilla and I like it.

I will say that this protein is not for everyone and those expecting it to taste like Select (or those who have not had a vegan protein) may be extremely disappointed.

The vanilla is not super sweet or overpowering, but I find it very enjoyable

I'll also note that I like the texture of vegan protein way better than straight whey, or even blended protein, so I may be a little bias

Great feedback guys!

Appreciate you taking the time to post. I'm a Virgin to the vegan protein game but what better way to jump in then with PEScience touch? :)

could you say anything about the flavor?

Good point! I had the chocolate flavor and usually I love found other chocolates to be just too earthy. With PES is wasn't a guess as to just what I was drinking. The chocolate is great and had it in some Trader Joe honey yogurt and it was phenomenal!

Just got two small containers of this, one chocolate and one vanilla.. the chocolate is legit, I have not tried vanilla yet though. Def a unique and solid option due to my horrid lactose allergy.

We had a Facebook video review from someone who works in a retail store that summarised it well.

He basically said "compared to other vegan proteins, this wins hands down. They aren't even in the same ballpark" but then explained that if someone isn't used to vegan proteins it obviously won't taste as nice as regular Select.

Josh is getting stingy in his old age. ;)

First, I'd like to thank bdcc and PES again for the opportunity to try and review their new Vegan Series Select Protein.

I was sent the Vanilla to try and ordered several of the chocolate and vanilla during the insider sale before receiving the tub from this promo because I knew PES was going to knock it out of the park. I wasn't wrong.

Both the vanilla and chocolate are, respectively, the best vanilla and chocolate vegan proteins I've had, and believe me, I've had a lot. The ones I listed above are those that I have personally purchased, not including the various "here, try this!" occasions.

Most vegan protein fails in two ways — not masking the "raw" taste of the pea protein and rice protein concentrates and creating a texture that can only be described as "gritty" or "sand-like." PES succeeded in both.

The pea protein, while detectable in the vanilla, does not detract from the overall taste profile. This is a lighter and less-rich vanilla compared to the milk-based vanilla Select, which I consider the holy grail of vanilla proteins, but it beats out other vanillas by mainstream (are there mainstream vegan protein manufacturers?) vegan protein makers. It mixes easily and has the smoothest consistency and creamiest mouthfeel among all vegan proteins I have tasted, second only to the chocolate.

In the chocolate, the sweet-nuttiness, of the pea protein actually enhances the taste and aroma. The taste can be best described as a darker chocolate, less sweet and heavier on the cacao compared to milk-based Frosted Chocolate Cupcake. It mixed just as easily as the vanilla and is both thicker and creamier than the vanilla. Maybe it's that extra bit of fat from the cacao powder? Who knows? Who cares? It's great.

I'll definitely be sharing this with the vegans in my life. Hopefully the product performs well and PES can use their flavoring magic to make more vegan proteins.

Damn I would love to try this. I have been meat free for over 10 years and pretty much vegan for the last 3.
most taste horrible sadly. and the pea protein is usually pretty nasty.

thanks for the thread!
