"I'm seeing spots!" Each sample jar had plenty more than one serving! Since I didn't know what size scoop to use, I used about 1tsp of powder. I'm a monster DMAA fan, but this stuff is off the chain in helping with mental focus and drive. I felt the tingle start before before I finished changing clothes and thankfully, it isn't a long drive to the gym. I walked in the door ready to go and was pouring sweat before finishing my warm-ups. My trainer has me on these Phil Hernon styled routines each lift is 1 set to failure, then move on. Leg extensions were first and I was working with 10# higher than I had used just the day before. Walking to the leg curl machine I was feeling better than fine and for once, I wasn't already dreading the cardio session to follow the fun stuff. I never wear my glasses in the gym...being near-sighted I'm used to not being able to see well enough to recognize even friends who aren't fairly close by. With my level of ADD, my meds wear off long before gym time so limiting my field of vision is a necessity. So, unclear vision didn't register at first. But, once I was in the lying leg curl machine, I realized that beyond the normal lack of visual clarity I was actually seeing spots! I have no BP or cardiac issues so I wasn't concerned. It was a freaking awesome workout... almost over did it with a couple of lifts because I was tempted to ignore the weight limits for certain lifts established by my ortho surgeon. He's an awesome sports orthopedic doc intent on facilitating my physical pursuits so I can get the body transformation I'm after without destroying either of my still fairly new knee replacements. When I couldn't increase the plates, using the Bloodshot meant that I had a much higher # of reps before hitting failure.
I backed off to about 3/4 tsp and still get a great work out without the spots. (I figure that wouldn't be as much fun every time.) I usually adapt to stuff pretty quickly, so I've been cycling Bloodshot with In-Rage which was also a new discovery just before I learned I was getting a Bloodshot sample in the mail. So far, that's working pretty well. Which means an order must is now a necessity.
