my parents have an african grey, but he doesn't trust me. still we whistle together. hes not a big talker. I get to watch him when they go on trips.

The party was pretty cool. in the end, I only had 3 beers and a little champagne over the span of 5-6 hrs. it was a costume party, so that was fun, just had a few people over, not tons. Although I sort of wanted to hammer down a bunch of drinks as per the good ole days, at the same time I didn't really feel like it either. I was surprised at myself :)

I get to watch my beloved Dolphins beaten on 2 different continents. Lovely.
 
what do you think is a reasonable age to let kids start hearing swear words?

I'd probably go with 15 because they're going to need to develop the vocabulary for driving soon.
 
I don't use profanity around anyone, much less kids. Unfortunately, cursing has become ubiquitous in this society: TV, movies, music, etc.

There is a great story about Robert E. Lee. One of his Generals was telling a joke as Gen Lee walked by. The young General looked around and said with a snicker, "Are there any ladies around?"

Gen Lee said, "No, but there certainly are gentlemen."

TetriNET is a multiplayer online Tetris game for up to six people, created by St0rmCat in 1997 that supports team play.[1] The last official version is 1.13. St0rmCat later created TetriNET 2, which features improved graphics, more types of special blocks, additional features (such as hold piece and block shadows), and a master server.[2]
 
each player has their own tetris game field going on
when you clear lines, sometimes special blocks become available to you, which you collect by clearing the line that has them
then you use the abilities you collect to help yourself and teammates or to screw up your opponents

here's the list of abilities
# a : Add Line - Adds one broken line to the bottom of the target field.
# c : Clear Line - Clears the line on the bottom of the target field.
# b : Clear Special Blocks - Causes all special blocks on the target field to return to normal blocks.
# r : Random Blocks Clear - Random blocks are removed from the target field, often creating gaps in lines.
# o : Block Bomb - Causes any Block Bombs on the target field to "explode", causing surrounding pieces to scatter throughout the field.
# q : Blockquake - Causes blocks on each line on the target field to shift, creating an earthquake-like effect.
# g : Block Gravity - Causes blocks on that target field to immediately fall into any gaps and instantly deletes any complete lines which are created.
# s : Switch Fields - User and target switch fields.
# n : Nuke Field - Removes all blocks from the target field.
 
might be helpful, it's not the most intuitive game

We are all adults Wilman and theres really nothing quote unquote wrong with cursing and I do see your point esp around a family type atmosphere with young kids. ~ Hope yall fellas doing well~

Maybe you should read the exchange again. I wasn't telling any of you not to curse. BP asked a question. I said what I did not do...around my kid or anyone else.

Nonetheless, I do think the excessive cursing in today's society is not only unnecessary, but it is wrong. Oh and maybe you haven't noticed but to type a profane word in a post at AM you have to modify the word, since apparently, it is inappropriate to use profanity in an open forum. Imagine that.
