a set of 125lb each powerblocks was on sale on craigs list locally (just listed this afternoon) for $150, but someone already called and was on their way
 
nah, but I imagine that the woman who was selling them really hated her husband/boyfriend if she'd sell a $1000 set of those for $150
 
This could be a good thing.

Maybe in a parallel future where you got the powerblocks, they went on to steal your wife, family, and livelihood.

That seems pretty good if it comes with 250lbs.

That is if they give you reasonable increments and not just four 45lb'ers and a 25. Not many choices, there but maybe that would just make your workout more interesting.
 
well there are a few Play It Again Sports places around here that sell used plates, 40 cents a pound. so I could spend a little and pick up whatever for fill as I need it :)

the price seems right. comically i found another on ebay that is less than 10 miles from me.

In all honesty the lat pull down section doesnt apear to have a good solid leg bar to hold you down, the bottom side of that preacher is awefully high and an awkward angle to be used for that.
