Which Supplement Hooked You???

AP was the first supp i ever felt working right away and still feel now. When i first started fish oil i was hooked on that. Both of these make me feel like a million bucks.

Stacker 2 with ephedra and the old legal gear transdermal that contained 1-test and 4ad. Both were insane!!

Id have to say the old Ripped Fuel that cost $12 for a bottle of 90 and Pinnacle Androstat 150 that cost $20.00 for a bottle of 100 of course the pre-prohormone ban (pre-Pres. Bush days)

1) Ultimate Orange back in like 1997

2) DSS (dexter sports science) I dont even know if they are still a retailer but they was big in the mid 90's, they had this liquid ephedrine product and a liquid yohimbe product, I would stack them pre-workout.

3)....thats about it..........cant say DT Hardcore cuz that would seem biased.

edit:

sht forgot....thermadrine by sports pharma....I would put that at #1 because Ultimate Orange was hit or miss days it hit hard, some times it didnt, but 1 or 2 Thermadrine caps and my workouts were on 10. That Old school ripped fuel in the big glass bottle with the black label and big font "Ripped Fuel" worked will pre-workout also.

Really loves ulitmate orange when i first started working out.

ECA stack had me hooked for years.

Original Creatine Mono- took this almost 10 years ago and loved how my strength jumped.

Recently JW, Igf2, Rpm stack.

Sorry to say but aplodan is pretty much a H+ blocker like beta-alanine, except it costs a buttload more money than bulk BA. Gakic was ok, i'd pay for it if it was $20, but the timing with it was hard and the powder assimilated faster.

I hear ya man, but these were the ones that got me started. I also did Leukic with them I think. Maybe my focus and mind was clearer then...don't know. And yeah it was before I had access to the knowledge of a computer and AM .com. Would I do them again.... not anytime soon. Many others I need to try first

I think what got me hooked was an ECA stack and M1T's (not taken together). I tried both within my first year of lifting and boy did they work. I'll defiantly try the ECA stack again when cutting season rolls along, however, for the price of M1T's and the potential risks, I don't think I'll be trying it again as the results just weren't worth the cost.

It's important to keep in mind that if you're judging a product that you used during your first year or even first two years of training... chances are you would have made rapid gains anyway. You need to assess a product when it matters most, like during a plateu. How did you respond after being stuck at the same weight on the scale in the bathroom, or on the bench press at the gym? What kind of changes did you see in the mirror?

Please don't post about products you used before you had pubic hair...supplementing at this age is ill advised.

You bring up a good point. I suppose I should have used a better term than "within my first year" as I've only been lifting for a year and a few months - I was still 21 while I took them, it wasn't that long ago. I've been following a 5 day split for about 2 - 2.5 hours a day right from the start and my gains were great (as everyone's usually are within the first 6 months) - arms went from 14.5 to 17, all other measurements went up a few inches as well, but I plateaued hardcore in size and strength after that first 6 months. Lo and behold, M1T was available to me. I did my research and decided to give it a shot, an educated shot mind you, I had nolva on hand as well for post-cycle and my diet was also in check.

Looking back, it did round out my body and helped me break through plateaus...my bench was stuck at 170 and shot up to 210. But half of the weight I put on was water, which also kept me up at night pissing all of it out the week after my last cycle. It did bring me up to 220 lbs from 210, and I kept 5 pounds of that (while losing 5). If it were still on the shelves and much cheaper, I'd say it's definitely worth it, though given the prices around here, the stress on the liver and prostate, and the terrible lethargy, I'd rather go natural for a few more years and then maybe hope to find something more effective.

Well this is going to date me but oh well, here there are in a sort of chronological order....

#1 Hot Stuff early 90s
#2 OG Ultimate Orange - Had a hardcore guy at the gym get this for me, this stuff made me psycho
#3 - OG MetRx
#4 - Andro - Mark McGuire style. Stuff made my nads hurt after two weeks so I round filed it.
#5 - Ephedra - OG AST brand Dymetadrine 25
#6 - Creatine
#7 - No Explode - Should be called A$$Explode, but because of this pre-wo I learned a lot about making my own blends
#8 - Hyperdrol/MassFX
#9 - Powerfull 2.0

Inbetween #6-7 there was quite some time, I swore off of supps because I saw the industry for what it had become. A bunch of snake oil salesmen praying on their own kind, I refused to give these types of companies my money. Now it seems science is making quite a surge in the market with many good products coming out. The Hyper/MassFx stack really impressed me, especially with no sides or PCT needed. Also Powerfull is something else! Over the past 12 years or so I have tried just about everything except for the PH's, after my Andro reaction I just had no interest..... and most of it was BS IMO.....but lately the more science savvy companies seem to be pumping out really effective products...Just my rant....;-)

the first supp i ever purchased was some garbage creatine from gnc way back. The stuff made me **** my brains out and i didnt try another supp (other than whey) for years. I would have to say though that RPM is what has re-hooked me on supps. I absolutely never train without it, and i half dose it on non-workout days. Its a great mood booster. I started MassFX a week ago stacked with rpm and so far i am impressed, my pumps are even more serious. BTW, was looking through an old Muscle and Fitness from 1997, creatine mono was 60 bucks a kilo. Compare that now with nutra's.

1) " Agent Orange " stacked with the old Ripped Fuels and a large bean....

2) ECA stak w/ 2 of the 25 mg tabs of E Hcl

3) Ultimate's Yohimbe tincture and Ultimate's Smilax tincture ( mid - late 90s ) under the tongue - take on all comers !!

I still swear that good Smilax , where you can get it, gives you an edge....

Anyone know if RPM is available in Canada ??

Creatine Mono. I'd always been an old-school, 6 raw eggs in a glass, type of guy. (That's what Rocky did.) But one day I wandered into GNC, walked out with some mono, and blew up like the Michelin Man. The rest is history.

primed - (i wish alri would return the product, primed ultra just does not compare for me)

RPM
