i stand by my statement, i cannot support a team that does not try to win. i could care less if they win 10 superbowls-i will never support them again. i will donate to fund to see them on the next mayflower truck out of town-f'ing quitters.

not funny...the colts have been very dear to me since moving to indy, i was proud to have them here even when they sucked. i feel like a close friend has stabbed me in the back. i now it sounds immature to be this passionate about a football team, but i went through some rough times with horrible colts teams and feel i have been betrayed.
 
Sidney Rice is my new hero. I got him in my fantasy team and he won match up for me by getting that TD on forth down. That was awesome. Too bad they lost though. If it wasn't for that blocked extra point, Viks would have won... Ahh, wishful thinking...
 
At least they managed to rack up 30 points in the second half and make it a game...still frustrating as hell though! I live in Mankato and was lucky enough to meet a few distinguished players during training camp - great bunch of guys. I know we havnt been playin our best the past few weeks but with all of the amazing talent at our disposal and Brett at the helm, who the hell knows how far we'll go!

Doesn't change the fact that Rivers is the better QB. The Steelers were the better team when they won the Superbowl, but it wasn't Ben who won it, it was the team as a whole. I'm just tired of hearing crap about the damn rings regarding that class of QB's... Rivers, Ben, Eli. I realize that until Rivers gets a ring that he'll trail behind Ben, but using the "SB Ring" theory, that would make Roger Staubach and Jim Plunkett (with QB ratings of 83 and 64 respectively) as good or better than the big 3 of '04.

All in all, when their careers are over I'm sure this will be like arguing over who's better Marino or Elway... A moot ordeal.

it wasn't rottenburger's qb skills that got them to and won the sb. it was his catching and tackling of the cornerback who would have scored and put the colts back in the game in the afc championship game. i damn near had a heart attack when that slow lumbering frankinstein caught him and made the tackle.
 
1. Who's won the most games since the 3 of them (Ben, Rivers, Eli) came into the NFL as well as 2 Superbowls. As we all know the quarterback gets too much credit and too much blame but facts are facts. If anything I would say that the Chargers have a better offensive coordinator. Also as far as the Colts go, they are the greatest underachievers in big games (other than 2006) even with arguably the best quarterback.

But it was Hines Ward's pass with that trick play that won them the SB against Seattle. That kind of thinking just doesn't fully work like that. If the WR's had not caught their passes earlier in the game they still would not have won if Ben had caught the cornerback. As I said the "team" "as a whole" won. I am not talking about the team, I am referring to Rivers. But I realize though that everyone believes it's about the Rangz.

Have to give the Jets props for going into Cincy 2 weeks in a row and getting the job done. The Bengals kicker will probably be found dead somewhere, at the very least, he'll be kicking for the Waste Management team Next season.

So who are you gonna root for when SD/Dal play the SB? I don't really hate the cowboys so much as I hate Romo.

Rivers got 2 votes for MVP this year. Only Brees and Peyton had more votes than him and Favre got 1 vote. They were the only QB's to get votes. Now, I fully agree that Peyton is MVP, without a doubt. I would just like to point out that it says a lot about what kind of year Rivers had, and look at the company he is in.

All 4 QB's had great years and actually anyone of them could have won. I personally was rooting for Chris Johnson even though I'm not crazy about the Titans

Chris Johnson is crazy awesome! I had him and Ray Rice as my RB's for fantasy football. Those two alone would win me games.

The dude's a big dumb animal. I don't believe a single word of it, but I do think he is a complete idiot for not straightening his act out. I've heard that the Rooney's are VERY p*ssed at the latest situation. He had 2 cops with him, the girls sorority sisters were apparently post things on their facebook and twitter accts implying that everything was a lie (conveniently the sorority made them all take everything conerning the situation down). While giving her statement the alleged victim described him as "6'5, 241lbs"...go to the Steelers website and see what his stats are...LOL...."6'5, 241lbs". Who in the HELL looks at someone and says he's 241lbs??? Is she a carnie???

Just like the Nevada situation, this is complete bullsh*t. There will be no rape conviction. It's only sexual assault. It's going to come down to he sad/she said...that is it.
 
Was a Chargers fan last season but they dissappointed me. Guess Ill be in the market for a new team to root for this year.

As we well know perception can become reality and the Steelers don't play when it comes to players screwing up. I still say innocent until proven guilty but this will be his last straw no matter what. Me thinks he might want to become a hermit for a while. And lilnardey, stick with your team, true fans are there when they win and especially when they lose.

I wouldn't say they were the least bit disappointing last season. A side from not making the Super Bowl of course, but overall they played well. We'll see how the draft and trades go for them. They are in dire need of RB for sure.
