Hi, my goal is to get my fat% down. I have to decide on a treat (for my cheat meal). It'll be my own home made pizza.
Which flour do u think is better?

Energy (cals) Carbs (g) Sugar (g) Protein (g) Fibre (g) Fat (g)
237.8 46.8 0.1 7.4 1.6 0 1
249 49.5 1.9 9.5 0 0 1.1
181 34.1 1.2 5.4 0 1.7

Cheers

If it is a cheat meal, I wouldn't worry about which one is better in terms of macros. Make it fit your macros. Now, one may be better than another in terms of rising, crisping, and texture. Different flours will provide different results when baked.

Ya, doesn't really matter which one. Just pick one and enjoy!

If you go to Whole Foods or another health food store, you can buy these pizza crusts that are made of just potato flour and like 2 other ingredients. They taste really good too. You'll find them in the frozen section.

I know it's a cheat meal, but I personally avoid wheat and gluten as much as possible just due to the inflammatory properties. Not so much a macro thing...

Do you have a food processor? It is simple and a lot cheaper to make your own crust.

Yeah I do have one. You're probably right too. I personally don't eat or make pizza that often, so was just throwing out the recommendation for the OP if he was looking for a cleaner crust to use.

What's the recipe you use for your crust if you don't mind me asking?

I don't have a set one that I use. I have a few I like, but aren't worth trying. I try various recipes until I find one I absolutely love and will pt that in my bookmarks.

If you like cooking look up cooks illustrated whole wheat bread dough, it's a little time consuming but the recipe uses 50% wheat flour and doesn't turn out dense it's nice chewy and soft.

Any flour is fine. None are going to make you fat on their own
