Whey protein price jump.

The whey I am taking has not jumped up in price for the past few years.

The middle working class is first affected, and then the poorest workers are affected eventually the most harshly. Then once the unemployment rate skyrockets, the government will enforce regulations on the market in hopes of employing people. As soon as the government gets into the middle of things in the economy, the entrepreneurial initiative is severely discouraged. Who wants to make a new business if it's just gonna give you a headache and make you basically work for/with the government? Once entrepreneurship fails, the government will get more involved and then we're not far from communism. I guess the liberals will be happiest then? If that doesn't make them happy, I don't know what will.

I think thats a little extreme. Dont expect the country to slip into a communist state anytime soon....

Anyway, prices of all foods are rising and will continue to rise.

I am not complaining. Choose a company that has a protein that has not risen in cost and stop complaining.

haha, Im not complaining about it at all. Im just mentioning that it is an empirical fact.

I buy ON Gold Standard, and it is quite affordable.

Communism probably not but socialism maybe if you can convince enough nitwits that putting the health care system in the hands of the post office is a good idea then mandate that there be no system other then that the slope gets very slippery very quickly and one Hillary Clinton is proposing just that. (And if you dont think shes a socialist spend 8 mins looking into her history, Black Panther advocate, had to compete to intern 4 a actual member of the American CP, quoted Marx 4 months ago when discussing taxation its a long list)

She is NOT a socialist. She just isnt. If you think she is a socialist then you dont know what a socialist is. In addition, your right wing rhetoric is either a result of listening to too much Rush Limbaugh or because you dont understand campaigning and elections.

Politicians pander to certain audiences while running for election (in Clinton's case = Unions, American protectionism, etc. In Bush's case = Christians, social conservatives, etc). Just because Clinton rails on NAFTA in Ohio during a democratic primary doesnt mean we will fall into a socialist state if she becomes president (which wont happen anyway, so stop foaming at the mouth). President Clinton railed on NAFTA in 1992 when running for election, then he was a huge advocate of it once in office. Not to mention welfare reform, etc. Its just campaign rhetoric and both parties do it.

Look around at other rich countries, they provide much more social welfare than America ever will... and in most cases, arent a socialist state. The founding dynamics of the American capitalist system wont significantly change based on any of the current candidates.

Ive read Marx i understand communism, fascism, socialism well in principle and ive also read the federalist papers and the constitution and im familiar with Austrian economics that said.. Hillary Clinton is very much a collectivist in one sense or another but you can certainly make the case that a good many of the republicans in modern politics are as well. My initial issue was with certain government programs wholly the dominion of the current crop of leftists nitwits guiding congress. Economics are my politics

dammit cut myself off, social welfare or wealth redistribution is a decided failure across europe, this upcoming "stimulus check" waste of our grandchildrens money is a republican market interruption that has no constitutional basis, the republican president signed the "No Child Gets an Education" bill. My criticisms are directed at liberalism in both parties, but im out this has lil or nothing to do with Whey prices in a directed manner.:burger:

The protein I buy when bought in bulk the cost is very cheep so I have no problems buying couple hundred dollars of protein at a time.

Extreme is the only way to think. By the way, I'm sick of people comparing social systems of America with Europe. After spending a month in various places in Germany, there is NO COMPARISON socially. People stand for 2 minutes waiting to cross a street until the light says it's okay to cross, even if there are no cars in sight. I saw one cop car in Germany my entire stay there. The entire social system is such that there's basically no crime at all in most western European countries. Everyone does what they're supposed to because they're supposed to. That's why healthcare and high taxes work for them, because everyone is so cooperative with one another socially. They don't have huge unassimilated ethnic groups there. I want to move there someday because I know a good amount of German and I know my tax dollars(or euros) will be spent somewhat coherently, on people who are well-to-do.

On topic: I got some EAS chocolate protein, 6lbs for $28 and I was expecting it to taste like death. It actually tastes just like bland chocolate milk if I put it in 2%, easily tolerable and usually enjoyable (with the right foods).

Is this directed at me? I am certainly was not comparing the two.

And to Dave who mentioned the Austrian School... I participated in a Symposium at the Ludwig von Mises Institute (Austrian School of Economics proponent) a bit ago

This thread is turning into the place vent one's own personal politics... I think I'll go back to reading about creatine :burger:

Not you directly, all liberals in general. Especially my damn government and economics teachers. They talk about Europe, especially France and Germany, like it's a utopia.

Consequentially before Marx wrote the communist manifesto in the 1848 liberals were called utopians. Oh God dammit i said i was leaving this place:drunk:
