I am doing some 5x5 for legs. Pretty brutal as well...

GVT is tuff though. Wait until you try GBC. This is where the Incarnate will have many benegits!

I heard this is the latest trend with HS chicks. Especially Christians. I guess they are giving dome and anal to keep their hymen in tact.

Don't look at the scale so much. I tell the lil lady this all the time, but she doesn't listen.

Their are many variables that will affect your weight. Go with measurements and visual. Obviously weight can be a good indication of muscle loss and fat gain. Weight dropped too fast can be the loss of muscle, and weight gain too fast can be fat gain, but for the most part I don't watch the scale.

I agree. waist is staying the same, a few new veins appearing actually, and slightly greater definition in spots. Poliquin knows his crap with the fish oil trick :D Its either that or the leviathan / incarnate combo, or the package deal. either way, i'm bulking nicely, just trying to decide when to begin the cut cycle. Given that the leviathan is half gone now (22.5 days/bottle) I was pondering flipping now so I start with the cutting support of that for the full 3 weeks left

You don't even need to do that. Zombie is that kid in HS who fakes getting drunk or high when somebody says take this, it will get you fcuked up; albeit, it is something fake, but yet Zombie acts goofy and all fcuked up while everybody is laughing and calling him a t3wl :toofunny:
 
GBC is freakin' brutal and I am not even using heavy weight. Today was legs and I actually had to sit down for 10 mins before I left the gym! LOL

The puking sensation is not fun!

I've learned a long time ago doing Poliquin workouts, is leave the ego at the door, because the style of workouts don't allow you to cheat and just throw up heavy weights, even if you are lifting heavy!

But because of this, back in my prime, I was always able to lift as heavy if not heavier than guys 20+ pounds heavier then me.

I'm always much more satisfied when someone compliments me on my form than for mentioning how much weight I'm using.

I despise the people who don't respect heavy weight enough to do the exercise properly.

I struggle horribly to do 35lb dumbell decline presses, just cause of form, can do 150lbs on a barbell tho

I'm starting to consider dumbbell presses fundamentally different from barbell presses. It's difficult for me to compare them. For most of the past year, I've exclusively used dumbbells for chest presses, and the strength I've gained from that sure doesn't transfer over or equate to the barbell I've recently started using.
 
I don't think I'll be doing barbell presses anytime soon. the dumbbells seem to be a more "agressive" overall workout, in that more muscles come into play, which I think will overall give better usable muscles

yeah, usually I find the dumbbells to require more effort overall
but I'm trying to incorporate the barbell again to hopefully develop more of the inner and upper pec, which seem to have not grown as quickly as the outer/mid areas from my dumbbell usage

with the barbell I find it easier to concentrate on squeezing the weight up with the chest, rather than pushing too much from the shoulders and arms.

hopefully I will learn that both dumbbell and barbell have their place in chest presses, otherwise I have no idea what I'm doing wrong for my chest growth, everything else is going swimmingly

well, you can do the squeeze presses with dumbbells for inner pecs

yeah, I also have been trying those squeeze presses, and they feel good

What's weird is that even when I exclusively used an incline @ 45 degrees with dumbbell presses I really didn't see any upper pec growth. Well, not entirely true, it grew in the outer region where it ties in with the delts, but anything near the clavicle and in the center looks flat in comparison

maybe I need to use a 60 degree incline

Or do the inclines with the press? I dunno, i dont really look that good to give that sort of advice :)
