For those of you that resort to protein supplements or add a protein supplement to an already protein enriched diet, what time of the day are you taking it? Pre or post workout? How many times? Before Bed? How much? How about on non training days?
On cut (currently):
8am - if I get sick of eggs for the day
6pm - post w/o
10pm - before bed
On bulk:
8am - with breakfast
3pm - semi-pre w/o
6pm - post w/o
10pm - before bed
If I know I'm lacking that day because I don't have any great protein sources in the fridge, I'll drink a shake as or with a meal. So tasty... Yet finding nutrition from food is always the best way to do it. It's just that eating 350-400g protein/day can be difficult on a budget.
