Just search for "NOW" foods. A great number of places carry now foods. Dextrose is a great powdered carb.

Second that motion....

One thing I am curious about, since we're in a powdered carb thread, is does anyone know where to get Maltodextrin DE 20. I read parts of ALRI's CME and he spoke of it...I guess it's a malto supp with a GI of 20...

My apologies for being such an obvious idiot. I apologize for not knowing that it isn't great. I've just been reading and thought it was useful in a whey shake post workout (at least thats the general consensus over at c-kd.com). Instead of bashing me how about educating me?

thanks

Just buy yourself a coffee grinder and grind up oats for use in your postworkout shake. Ne need to pay extra to have stuff preground and shipped when it's ridiculously easy to just do it yourself.

The health benefits of whole grains over high glycemic sugars are numerous. Both work but once has a greater chance of adipose storage and that can't be argued. Thats just basic physiology. If you can get away with it fine but most likley you won't be able to as natural insulin resistance sets in with age.
I found this in another post you talked about. So you are saying that, whilst young, if i'm on a c-k-d diet and I intake say, 16g dextrose pwo its a)no different than ground up oatmeal and b) I could still get away with it since i'm young? I just want to make sure I understand fully. Sorry if this is annoying or "well known facts" but i'm still new at this nutrition game. Thanks for your help bobo.
