I would too, but seafood does not settle well on my stomach, so I have to be very cautious on what I use.
Considering the meats I used, they were easily piling up a very high fat intake per serving, not to mention the added oils.

interesting but with that place in pittsburgh not that far from you I believe .. only place I'd ever go for breakfast out (Delucas)

Deluca's is a 4 hour round trip. That is quite a haul
I am not blessed like you are living near NYC with the food scene you have. I live in a city full of chain restaurants.

o for some reason thought you were closer to that area..yeah its nice being 30 minutes outside the city all though in the process of buying a house about an hour away so those random day trips will be a tad more limited...

There was a KK in my town for a year or so, and then it shut down. Now, the only chain we have is DD. For some reason, there are very few mom and pop doughnut shops in my area as well.

The first time I had the KK glaze, I fell in love.

Oh. My. Good God. That is a thing of beauty. I'm glad someone has the self control to not eat themselves into a cardiac arrest with all those delicious treats that company offers. I don't even stock junk food much.

But I did have a Shepard's pie the other day that was 2lb's, had turnips in it too. =) It maxed me out for the day.

It is called "Moderation"
You don't have to eat yourself stupid to enjoy food. There is a law of diminishing returns. Self control goes a long way because once you continue to eat so much food that it makes you sick you think twice and dial it back to having X or Y amount. Then you feel better, can enjoy these foods more often, and don't have to sell yourself to a treadmill or guilt of restriction to do it over and over again. All about that Balance!!!

I already made a pact with the devil which involves a lot of treadmill time for me so sadly no go. Just kidding. But honestly I know that I won't moderate myself if it comes to having an entire pint or just a few bites of very good ice cream. So the trick here is I buy that kind of stuff to go to my girlfriend's house and split it between me, her, her mom, and her sister. That way I'm eating only a tiny bit and then the stuff is gone =)
