What is your favorite cheat meal?

I think they call it that when it doesn't meet the standards for ice-cream anymore, google it if u don't believe me.

Just read an article I would post the link if I could but don't have enough post on here but yea you're right they cut the amount of cream they use to save themselves money and don't reach the standards to be considers an ice cream

Dindt i just write quality > Quantity.. now you see what i am trying to say.
True Ice cream is made with CREAM and whole eggs like frozen custard, hence why its superior in taste.

Blue bell is not sold up north but its not bad

Agree with you 110% dude

Another difference with the cheaper 'ice creams' is that they have a large proportion of air mixed in. That's why a pint of B&J's weighs about as much as a gallon of the cheaper stuff.

The Truth comes out :)
Youtube how they make real custard or real ice cream, then compare it to what you hear about EDY's, that is why it so cheap for a huge half gallon compared to a pint of premium stuff

Lets put it this way,

would you rather eat a prime rib, or Grade D Meat from Taco Bell? Sure you can spend 10$ and get 10 taco's of low grade dog crap, or you could pay 10$ for a quality slice of a steak and get something that tastes 100x better.

Bob, I have been curious about MyOatmeal. It is a cool idea, but a little expensive, which turns me off. However, I would like to give it a shot. I have a question about your order though. What type of oatmeal did you order? It looks very runny and I like my oats to have more of a solid consistency if that makes sense.

consistancy will all depend on how much liquid you add and how long you cook it for

For all of you guys that are oatmeal fans, you may really enjoy this site or look into it for the future:

Pretty much you make your oatmeal blend and you can select flavorings and mix-ins for sweetner, fruits etc.

Kind of like True Protein and how they do their flavoring for their protein, but this is for oatmeal. they have a 48 hour discount where they will give you free of charge you just pay for shipping due to it being new and looking for feedback (if you write a small review). So this may be right up some of your alley... Just tossing it out there.

I went with the Snickerdoodle Flavor
PB Lean (Like Pb2)
Surcalose (Splenda)
and Blueberries (fruit mix in)

Add their facebook and they are doing giveaways for the first few days of the release... (all you pay for is shipping)

regular rolled oats. Its not runny at all, its literally glued to the spoon hence why i held it up. Not runny at all i hate runny oats.

Quick question about oatmeal I've heard it's good to eat before a workout but I've also heard that its slow digesting. So which one is it? Thanks in advance.

you have to be kidding...
this could be one of the biggeest broscience statemenst i have read
you can eat oatmeal before or after a workout.
If you are trying to allude to simple/fast acting carbs its 100% BS, because all studies done are those in a fasted state or those training to be endurnace athletes (by fasted its over 24+ hours)

Yeah it slower because it has far less GI and has more fiber, but GI is bunk anyways, nobody eats just a carb source alone at a meal, if you have protein or fat with a source it lowers by a ton.

its 1 - a good carb source
2- good to eat whenever
3- cheap and reliable
4 - convenient

I follow them on Facebook and have been on the sight. Some of the flavors are straight hnnngggg looking. The cheesecake, pistachio, and key lime might make me cave in and order.

I think it is irrelevant on the timing of eating oatmeal. If you're going to the gm right after eating though, I wouldn't advise it unless you have a very small amount. I would probably end up puking. I have oatmeal, the serving varies, after every workout. I honestly love oatmeal and look forward to it. I always have it post workout because I see it a my incentive for training my ass off.

I was just confused cause some people like to eat it pre work out so I though it would act like a banana, and not everyone eats protein and fat with every meal(like u stated), munchies man, munchies. : P

I've got a crazy munchie craving for cheesecake at the mo. Will have to find a lowcarb recipe to make this weekend.

I'm going to try this tomorrow, I found it off the website solution posted. It got an A and I've never tried blue bell and the flavor sounds bomb.

Anthony of MyOatmeal states these are the best flavors

- Carrot Cake
Cake batter
German Chocolate Cake
Snickerdoodle
Smores

Eating oatmeal, just eat it, use it to hit your macros/calories and move on..
lol at thinking its ok to eat pre or post-workout
Eat it if you enjoy it. I eat more potatoes and rarely eat oats in general.

Dear The Solution,

Will I get fat if I eat a big bowl of oatmeal right before I go to bed? Will I get fat if I eat fat AND carbs in the same meal? Will I turn into a pumpkin at midnight if I drink a soda with lunch?

PS all your food looks so good and I have been using some of your recipes. thank you.

that is all.

lol not srs btw if it's not obvious :P

I eat oatmeal pre workout and sometimes post. I like the fiber and the special ways I can alter oatmeal.

Although I must confess I'm with you on the potatoes. A bag of potatoes last me a week and a half. 2 meals consisting of potatoes. Mashed, fries, fried, baked ....the possibilities are endless. I eat sweet potatoes red potatoes and yellow potatoes. I ain't afraid of no carbs!

I was just about to post a bunch of layne norton and alan aragon links too :)
Not to mention some LG links from martin berkhan.. haha :)

Like you're so fond of saying its called moderation. No matter what u eat or when cals in and cals out is what matters. Unless you're in contest prep or something

Love your frequent use of avacado

They are delish, and I have paratroop to thank for introducing me to them.

Yeah I love fresh avacado. Try avacado salad:

Diced avacado
Diced tomato
Minced scallion
Coarsely chopped cilantro and parsley
Kosher salt
Pepper
Pinch of garlic powder and chili powder
Dash of olive oil
Lime juice
