My dh was diagnosed with primary a year and a half ago. We have done a lot of reading and also checked out different forums about anti anging and low t..
From what I can understand, primary means that the testes themselves have shut down..and secondary means that something else got screwed up caused the low T production.
They tested dh's pituitary and thyroid ..anyway all that was normal.
The reason I ask is because I see alot about needing "other" things whenyou are secondary..but not alot about primary.
My husband seems to be doing well on must Testim..all the negative things that plagued him ( fatigue, low sex drive, moodiness, lack of energy, etc) are no longer bothering him.
He still has his balls and is not losing his hair ( any more than normal..he does have male pattern baldness..had it ever since he was in his 20's)
All this to say...if he is doing this well on just the Testim...he does take some OTC supplements ( Zinc 50mg, copper 2mg, prstate formula, VitC B-complex, one asprin a day, magnesuim and potassim and calcium and grape seed extract)
does he need anything else, at this time? It just seems that if all is weell, we shouldn't tinker with it?
Opinions anyone? Thanks
