what is the best creatine to take?

so from what i thought i knew, creatine taken post workout with a slow digesting carb like grape juice or apple juice, will then be taken to ur muscles where it will transport water and nutrients from your food and protein shakes to your muscles, as well as the endurance in the gym, more frequent urine, also you must drink tons of water through out the day. I take a scoop and throw it in my mouth and wash it down with my post workout shake and then sip on water till about a hour then i have a nice meal or snack depending on the time of the day.

Creatine is a saturation not an instant effect. Dosen't matter when you take it but to keep saturated you need it every day. As for the grape juice....meh. Oatmeal is a slow digesting carb. Wouldnt it make more sense to cause a fast insulin spike with simple sugars/carbs if the grape juice myth had any merit to get it in the muscles faster? Whey protien dose this. But...the...."drive the creatine into your muscles" myth is busted. I do enjoy grape juice though.

Creatine monohydrate is the god of creatine....or atleast the only one with proof to back it. Bloat caused is a myth. :)

Creatine nitrate is way better than mono but hard to find at some points. It helps putting more muscle in my experience but with mono is like dbol just water gain.

Cell hydration is the concept. Without going into science it allows you to push more weight inducing extra anabolisim from the intensity creatine can induce. You lift heavier you grow. Big fan of progressive overload. Not a fan of 50 + reps with a pink 5 pounder very slowly.

You know you have seen these guys who do that....I laugh out loud.

the most noticeable creatine ive used was creatine rt by athletic edge nutrition.....i currently mp creatine and will be switching to mcc by sns

creatine does not work because of water gain it increases atp via increased creatine-phosphate concentration in the muscle. Water is just a consequence not the direct action of the creatine

the cheapest creatine monohydrate you can find. id go to walgreens and pick a decent size for around 10-15 dollars. all other creatines fail and are a wate of money. kre alkalyn has come and failed, ethyl ester is probably the worst, and all these blends that claim no water retention.....welll then they dont work either. take any brand of plain white unflavored creatine mono (some say skw, german, creapure, are the best creatines or are the purest, i dont think it really matters). load for 5 days. always take on an empty stomach. take it with grape juice and water. cant go wrong

I agree; mono is the best I used all kinds during my 7 months of working out....right now I stopped taking creatine just so my body does not get used to it and I can focus relying on my own body to see how my body really reacts with creatine once I go on it again..

But i tried ethyl and all other stuff and really mono was the same, if not better and noticed better results

creatine mono

if you wanna get fancy you could do 1-2 grams of creatine nitrate b4 your workout, then 2-3 grams of mono after.

That's what I follow. Good choice nitrate before and mono after makes my muscle feel great.

I've been taking creature creatine. It's a blend and has worked better than plain mono and kre alk sucked. What do you guys think about cycling creatine now? Some say yes and no
