What is Guaifenesin?

I believe its a decongestant.

Not sure on the toxicity levels though...
Yeah that would make sense....I just heard it's not something you want in high doses....esp when combined w/ephedrine.

But it could be bullshit.

Maybe, course ephedrine is not really something you want in high doses either...;)

Guaif is an EXPECTORANT not a decongestant. It is designed to add lubrication to your nasal passages and help you blow out mucus or cough out mucus when you are sick. It cannot harm you in large doses and many in the pharmaceutical world beleive it is not very useful for that purpose any way. I know, because i used to sell pharmaceuticals and had a line of cough syrups. Gotta love that codeine! anyway, go to your pharmacy and check out the robitussin with guaif and see what dosage is in there and what they reccomend for usage. At worst youll spit abit more and at best you will burn fat and spit a bit more:)

Yep, that's right. It is a mild muscle relaxant at high doses, but non-toxic.
