What is a Floor Wiper

dynomite

Banned
I have heard of these and I can not look them up on Youtube because I only have internet at work and I cant see them. Can someone explain them to me please?

you get on a bench, and grab the weighted barbell, and do leg raises to the bar. the amount of stabilizer muscles needed to pull this off is ridiculous. the more you put on the bar, the harder this is.

so i get on a bench just like I am about to do a bench press?

and then i do leg lifts but instead of going only like a foot up i bring my feet all the way to the bar?

oh wait i get it. so i actually unrack the weight and hold it above me like I am about to start bench pressing right?

Done on the floor or the bench....the bench version obviously harder. Id start with the floor so you dont knock yourself off the bench when first trying it.[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kcNGCG2L0OA"]YouTube - Floor Wipers from 300 Movie Workout[/ame]

It doesnt look hard at all... but its like one of those things that you try and nearly die cuz you underestimate it hahaha

Dont get cocky with the weight on the bar! Made that mistake before and it wasnt pretty... I agree with starting on the floor.
Super setting with bench at the end using slow eccentric movement is a nice burn

that youtube vid posted above is it on the floor and you can provided the weight is suitable do a pullover...

Like i said in the original post I have no access to youtube. I didnt even know there was a video up there. So i guess I might need a partner to hand me any weight that is of signifance.

you have a lovely sense of humor.

are you gonna try to walk on? which school?

sorry, i was a bit harsh on that, i just had to deal with an ex girlfriend, and i was stuck at work

i played at sfa,

now i'm hoping to go to either university of north dakota, texas state, or (dream big) texas a&m. the first two i'd go back to linebacker for, but a&m i'd try to get on as a full back. j-lane is graduating, and they're having big problems recruiting solid fullbacks in texas.
