what does benzal alcohol smell like

I know this is a crazy question I have an a couple of unlabled bottles how could I find out which one is benzal alcohol a company didnt label them but should get back to me I guess if it comes down to it I could do a boiling point test but if anyone know a better way I'd be glad to know.

benzal alcohol should smell like an ateseptic shouldnt it I pretty much know but dont want to waste money by being wrong.

Smells very chemically, with a VERY quick drying effect on skin. It will also cause a rapid numbing if you spread it across your belly.
