Weights up, scales down…

Whew been busy!

Got some pens built for the chickens and ducks to be able to move around the yard. Once they are bigger they can free roam. Got the second half of the concrete poured for the out building. Lumber will be coming this week and framing will start.

Then had to make a run back to the Dakotas, wrap up an open project I had grab a few items from the office I forgot and then back home.

It’s a good busy for sure. I missed having projects and stuff to do and I like the kids trying to help and see that it’s good to do work and have a sense of accomplishment!

Yeah I was surprised on how strength still seems to be increasing and all still forward trending!

Did you rig up full chicken tractors? I can't leave by birds unfenced, we have too many predators from eagles and hawks to coons, possums and yotes and weasels but I'm going to triple the size of their run next month so I can do some micro pasture management and grow greens in one run while I have them decimate the other and back and forth. Right now the cornish cross meat birds are all in a brooder but I'm on the fence between a chicken tractor vs small pasture for the next batch.

I’ll get a picture of the big one today, it’s all enclosed, need to finish the top though. Same to many predators to leave them unprotected

All is well brother!! Need to catch up in your log but did catch and see little man is healed up and going. Squat PR is great but I’m gunning for that deadlift PR 💪🏻💪🏻
 
dude thats so funny, 100% do love deadlifts more than squats for whatever reason, I love picking up something very heavy just because I can, but I gotta say I might be with Hyde. there is something magical about a squat PR. Maybe its just the fact that I didn't get squashed like a pancake and die.

That’s what it is. I don’t enjoy squat or leg training, it’s hard & scary & makes me anxious before kicking my ass. But to actually PR your squat, is beautiful because of the difficulty and fear. It’s hard.

Bench you get to just lay down and push it up - if you miss, someone takes it or you can roll it off. And you can set safety pins even. Deadlift you can always drop it. But a heavy squat is different!

This is the start of the canning/baking/buthering/ side by parking and outdoor kitchen.

Have the concrete poured and cured start of the framing. Will have half as the main part other half will be space for the other side by side and grills etc. then we will build out a 12’ lean to on the one side for a sitting area etc.

ahaha its true but in our case this year it was "I need to build all winter regardless of rain and temp so its ready for growing season". 😂 😂 Luckily right as I'm hitting burnout on that front, its just about time for me to sit back and watch my wifes green thumb go to work.

feels that way lol. Microsoft Outlook was really good 20+ years ago and every single update they've done since has made it worse and worse lol at some point just set the whole thing on fire and start over from scratch.
