WE SQUAT -- Powered by MaxREPS -- INVADING THE NON-STIM CATEGORY!

Recently have been doing a lot of cambered bar squats.
1) it takes a lot of pressure off your forearms
2) it helps getting the bar in a low bar position
3) Great to use as pause squats (pause off the pins) or box squats to help with explosion out of the hole.

Less forearm pain, easier on your wrists, and easier to sit back into the motion. For those who have trouble staying on your heels give these a go

I squat because I love it. I feel strongest on my leg days. i love standing under the bar with 400lbs on my back and busting out reps. I feel strong and like a beast.
I've always been a high bar squatter. Never learned there was a high and low til I joined here. I'm at 415ish on my squats and I was hoping for 475 by the end of the year.
I broke my right hand recently and need to surgery to repair tendons and what not. So I'm out for a while. But after surgery I'm going in for leg days. Three days a week. I can't squat heavy but I'll be sure to rep out every time!
I know when I'm back in the gym for real it'll be squats every day for a couple months.

does your gym have a hack squat machine? Won't need two working wrists for that, just a set of shoulders.

Ooh! Good call. They in fact do. I'm not doing anything til after my surgery but atleast now I can squat

Also a fan of these! However, little awkward on the walk out for me- at least in the rack I use M-F. Sits nice on the back though! :)

Don't know if you saw the recent studies, but sleeves are catabolic. Granted, the study was only on mice, but I still wouldn't risk it.

No sleeves in the gym

USP Barbell Club T's during recovery when I'm anywhere else ;)

You'll see some new squat vids I posted today, I believe it's post #34, now I didn't use Max Reps today because I was out of work early enough to have a stim based preworkout but you can bet your ass I used Modern Creatine in my shaker :D

stack it with the stim..

half scoop MaxReps.

Where's your sense of adventure? :P Honestly I wish my stim preworkout tasted as good as Max Reps, adding a full scoop could probably make chugging it easier :D

More is not always better....

Oh I know, I'm just messing around. Tomorrow is Chest and shoulders so you know I'm pounding some Max Reps to get that sweet pec pump!

Bring it!!!

I am 15 days out from my next power lifting contest! So excited.. all this talk about squats has me ready to hit the gym tonight!
