135 x10
185 x10

Nice easy day at about 50%. Spent the last two days in the woods hiking and hunting.

I plan to do light squats/deads on Thursday and rest up until Monday. Monday will start my second 5/3/1 cycle.

Body weight was at 248 this afternoon which is low for me. I'm going to try to do a bit of a refeed this week and into next week to get me back into the mid 250 range for the start of the second cycle next week.

Excited to see how well you do upon return. How is the Joint Mechanic treating you?

Tonight I did some light squats... up to 225 and pulled the same. Nothing really to report. It has been a slow week and I'm itching to kill it next week after this deload.

Deload this week for me as well...love hate with it. Hate to do it but love the way it makes me crave getting back after it!!

Must be what the cool kids are doing. I started back today after my deload, I feel great. Much better than NOT lifting for an entire week

I saw! I told you its hard to resist waiting a whole week. I see you jumped back in after it after 5 days. :34:lol You should still feel a great deal better than last week and it will show in your training.

I hate to do it but love the craving and I also love the spare time to catch up on things that I need to get taken care of.

Feeling good about today. My joints are great. Nice and lubed up. No knee pain, no shoulder pain, and no hand pain to report over the last week or so.

I have been running at 6 caps per day so this log will be over at the end of the week. I'll have a detailed write up then and move back into my training log.

Everytime I see the title to this log all I can see is that little Korean fella dancin his little rear off haha

Great log so far brother...keep up the good work!

Definitely sore today. I was worried that with all of the squat work from yesterday that my left knee would cause me problems today. But that is not the case. Feeling nice and sore but no knee pain what so ever.

Nice squat day. Getting a little more confidence in your joints now?

Absolutely. More confidence means I can't start pushing it a little harder and see what happens. I'll be picking up some more of this to continue after the log has ended.

On another note... Bench night tonight!

Hell of a day...

Had an afternoon meeting that ran all meeting. I missed lunch and my pre workout snack so I had to jam it all down before I went out to train. Went in to train dehydrated and full from just eating but still felt empty.

Warmed up the shoulders and went to town...

Bench
135 x10
135 x10
185 x5
215 x3
245 x3
275 x5

I had a hard time getting tight on the bench and I wasn't able to really stay in the groove. I could have pushed out some more reps but things weren't jiving like I thought they should so I did the prescribed reps and 2 extra and called it a day with that

Boring But Big Bench
155 5 sets of 10

incline Db Bench
80s x10
80s x5
Just wasn't feeling it so I moved on

Tbar rows
2 plates 5 sets of 10

Lat Pull down
4 sets of 8

Tricep Pushdowns
5 sets

I'm having trouble keeping my bodyweight up in the 250's right now. The last few days I have been waking up around 246-247 and ending the day around 252 but its not holding like it used to. I added a bit of creatine into my diet tonight and I'll be continuing with that along with some higher calorie foods with extra protein shakes to hold down some lbs.

I attribute the crappy night to a combination of fatigue from a long stressful day at work, being underweight, and being sore from squatting heavy yesterday. Still went through the workout, put up 2 extra reps, and did everything I could to make progress tonight. I feel that its days like these that build character and show you who you really are.

I hope you meant "i CAN start pushing a little harder", might get some of this to run as a preventative as my shoulder is already starting to grind a bit from picking back up bb bench.

Solid work man, i know the feel of "hell of a day"

Haha yeah that's what i meant. Damn auto complete. i definitely recommend joint mechanic. It will be especially helpful if you start it before you get an injury. All about preventative maintenance.

Did you notice any changes in mood while taking Joint Mechanic?

I'm gonna be sore tomorrow...

Bodyweight before bed tonight was 255.5 lbs.

Being sore tells me I did my work!! I got my trap bar and love it. So does my back. Lol

+1 for trap bar. I miss trap bar deads :( may travel 10 mins jjust to do them because of you! Haha

If I keep feeling the shoulders locking up I'm definitely getting on it especially if you like it

Used my new trap bar yesterday and what a different feeling. I felt solid as a rock with no sketchy lower back tweaking. I also did bent over rows with and the rom is much better.

No need to be. Lol I have been waiting to get one and Elite had a sale that I couldn't resist.

Sorry guys I had my final review scheduled to be written for this morning. I was woken up by my girlfriend who was in extreme pain so we took her to the ER which is where I spent my morning. All is well now and I just got up and around for the day. Ill hopefully be posting it up tonight if all goes according to plan. Thanks for your patience.

Sorry to hear that, good to hear things are well now.

Sounds sh1tty, man. Hope your girl is okay.

Final Review:

Dosage: 6 caps per day

I played around with the timing of the doses and I found that I liked to take them with breakfast and immediately before bed. I noticed that when I took a dose before bed that I didn't wake up stiff and achy (joint wise) which was a huge benefit to me. Before JM, rolling out of bed sucked because everything ached and I would much rather go back to sleep than deal with the aches and pains before I could hop in the shower to warm up.

JM was designed for three key features... I'm going to touch on each one...

Immune: While on JM, I didn't get sick. I didn't feel like I was getting sick or even think about getting sick. I did feel like the length of my DOMS might have been down a little.

Joint: Since on JM I haven't had any problems with my knees or hands. Before it was terrible getting through a day at work because my fingers would cause my pain. I was using JM to recover from a shoulder/pec injury which I personally feel like it did an excellent job. My weights aren't quite back up to where they were yet but JM definitely provided a step in the right direction for me.

Antioxidant: While I normally won't go out of my way to get any extra antioxidants, I think they are a nice touch in this product. My post workout shoulder inflammation was down tremendously. At the start of the log I had to ice my shoulder after every workout. I no longer feel the need to ice my shoulder because there is almost no inflammation. The inflammation that does occur only lasts for a few minutes and ends quickly.

I just want to touch on Meriva real quick... I've taken curcumin before alone and with other products and I always had intestinal distress with it. It never sat well with me and I always stopped taking it after a day or two. I did not notice any of these problems with the
curcumin extract in JM (Meriva).

I ran through 2 bottles of this in 30 days. I was dosing high because of my recent shoulder injury.

Final thoughts:
Would I recommend this product? Yes, I would recommend this to anyone that is having joint pain and inflammation. I would recommend this to anyone as a staple supplement to run continuously. I plan to pick up another bottle or two to keep running for the next few months.

I'd like to thank MST for giving me that chance to log this excellent product of theirs. I'll be doing another log for them in the near future. I'll be sure to post the link for that here so everyone can follow along.

Thanks for the detailed review on Joint Mechanic, bro!

Nice review big man and I hope the little lady is back to being well.
