Volcom’s, Controlled Labs NEW White Flood CAPS (Sponsored TESTER)

Well then, I'm glad I missed all that.

Speaking of personal attacks... Whats the difference between you and a Mallard with a cold? Ones a sick duck, I can't rememeber how it ends, but your mother's a whore!
oh Sean Connery! lol...

TEST RAGE: I was minding my own business with my headphones on, performing my (crippled) seated shrugs routine, making the most of what I got, when I see a guy on the incline press. He loaded up 225 and performed the most partial of all partial reps I've EVER seen in my life. He stopped the bar about 5 inches ABOVE his head, on the incline bench. That urked me much more then it should have. He performed 10 twitches, got up and looked around. I made eye contact with him through the mirror reflection and shook my head at him.

Next set, he loaded up to 275 and for no rational reason at all, I was legitimately angry. Again, he performs 8 twitch reps, gets up and looks around and I shake my head again, but he chooses not to look my way.

He moves up to 295 and during his set, everything in me wanted to throw a dime at his forehead and yell out "NEGGED!" He twitch reps some more (stops the bar 5 inches ABOVE his head) and moves to 315 for his next set. At this point, I was literally on the verge of saying something, like yelling across the room, "I'm still waiting for the 1st rep!" Then I had a fantasy beat down, you know when you play out a situation in your head that may lead up to a fight.

I saw myself saying what I was going to say, then I pictured him walking up to me and I was going to pop up and knock him to the ground. I thought, "if he steps to me I'm going to swing this 45lbs plate at his head" then I thought, "no, there's no way I can swing a 45lbs plate fast enough to hit somebody," so I looked around and saw a nearby Quarter and thought, "perfect, I can reach for that" and I commenced to beat this guy with a quarter in my thoughts.

NOW.... 10 min later, when the test rage calmed down, I thought, holy $hit, how irrational was that last 15 min?!?!

I'm normally a peaceful, compassionate, cool guy, so I hope this little story doesn't change your perception of me, I'm fully certain this was the act of the DTHC/Sunami getting my War Test moving. I hope you don't see this little story as a reflection of my character, but I felt it would be an integral report of the Aggression via Test Increase as a result of the products I'm on. It's technically a positive report FOR DTHC/Sunami.

On my way to my car I thought. Women can be skilled fighters, I agree, but nothing can touch a light to the bone headed, irrational and unadulterated instinct to destroy and destroy without repentance then a floodgate of Male Testosterone drowning out every piece of judgment and sensibility in a MAN. Men were born to war, testosterone is one hellacious kindle of a desire to break someone else. I'm a good guy though. It was a temporary break of sanity via increased testosterone.

Just got around to reading this. Funny story, Volcom. I like to think I'm a very nice dude, but I have fantasy beat downs in my head all the time!

I just read Volcom's test rage after Irish's comments... I get those thoughts all the time man - nothing wrong with it really. There's a few people in the gym that I've never said a word to that piss me off to no end for various reasons...

It's not that I don't EVER have fantasy beat downs, just usually not over something so arbitrary, again, I attest to the Test. Bodybuilding rap right there. West Coast.

Day 20; Second Workout

I performed bi's for my second session of the day, but I was burnt. I'd performed HIIT in the early morn, worked out, went to the firm, came back to Peak Performance and performed HIIT again, then I had 2 hours to kill until my next appointment, so I hit the gym in a zombie state.

It seems the busier I am, the less time I am psychologically able to waste. Time is like gold when you don't have any, so rather then resting those two hours, I felt obligated and to make it worthwhile, so I hit the gym, AGAIN.

Bi's
I don't remember the specifics, I just did what I did, so I'll use the summarized template.

Free Weight Loaded, Preacher Hammer Curls - 4 sets
Free Weight Loaded, Preacher Hammer Curls - 4 sets
Preacher Curls, machine - 5 sets
Vertical Curls (Lat Pull Downs) - 4 sets
Standing Cable Curls - 3 sets
Seated Cable High Curls - 3 sets

and I went back to Peak Performance and performed my 3rd and last bout of HIIT

3 HIIT sessions today! Early Morning, Late Afternoon and Night.

Dude...what the HELL?!

I bet your CNS is begging you to calm down. That's just insane. You basically did five workouts today.

Freaking MACHINE!

I bet your rippn up volcom

I know... some days are like this. My quads are already experiencing DOMSmestic violence.

I bet your rippn up volcom

I'm noticing more contour in my forearms and my serratus is a bit more apparent, but nothing too radical yet. I'd like to emphasize YET for my own encouragement.

I have to do way too much to lose size (fat), but on the flip mode side, I gain size (muscle, and errrr, fat tambien) very easily and I don't lose muscle very easily. It's a love/hate.

thats whats up

This is right up your alley Volcom. This will be the greatest 33 minutes of your life...A celebration of human stupidty.

I didn't make it a full minute. I'm such a puss (or maybe just non-sociopathic). I can't watch that stuff, hehe.

Respect the office of President even if you do not respect the man

I just wanted to touch on the political aspect. I did not vote for Obama, but the majority did. Therefore, I will choose to stand behind him. I think that's an important part of this whole thing. Too many people are critical of politicians. I suppose it is their right to be that way, but no one is perfect. GW was a buttonhead, but our government under his reign, even at the lowest point it's been in probably 50 years, is still preferable to many others around the world.
Totally agree. What the media did to President George W. Bush these last few years is outrageous regardless of what we think about him or how we feel about the years he governed.

Going back to people not knowing the source of their passion: If you ask most people why they dislike Bush or think he did a bad job, they won't be able to tell you. They'll only be able to spout some nonsense about war and the cost of funding it, or some crap about the economy (you do realize Bush, McCain and the republicans tried Invalid Link Removed to put oversight for Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac, but did not even make it to a vote due to democratic opposition, right?). This is the power of the liberal media. Such passion without understanding.

Eventually, once the media guided passion fades, Bush's two terms will end up going down in history as a success. There were many gaffs, moments of idiocy, and decisions that angered conservatives (most of which were a failure thank god... amnesty anyone?). But there were triumphs and successes to rival some of our greatest. Not to make this an argument about the war, but... Do you realize 2/3 of Iraq has been handed over to the Iraqi forces and have been operating independent of US assistance? Do you realize there were ZERO combat deaths last month to report (Source: NBC News on the radio this afternoon)? This has occurred with only FIVE years of action. That is AMAZING. Another triumph: So far we've averted a severe recession or possibly a depression through Bush's ability for bipartisan politics. I don't care what you think of the buyouts (I was vehemently against the first draft, and almost as opposed to the second), Bush's ability to gain a unanimous consensus of action saved the US economy from disaster (again, we could probably argue the necessity of the buyouts all day).

Division and derision is what the liberal media wanted for the past 8 years, and they got it. Now lets see what they do now they have their messiah, and let's hope this isn't the least transparent / least accountable presidency this nation has ever seen.

Regardless, the office of President commands respect, even if you do not respect the man (I'm gonna have a hard time honoring this statement, lol). Political affiliation aside, I'm ashamed of the treatment our President has endured these past 8 years. Mark, history will be kind to Bush once the past 8 years are put to paper and liberal media bias no longer twists the facts to their ends. Can you name what you think made Bush deserving of such disrespect and mistreatment?

*Please do follow that link regarding FMae/FMac, btw.
EDIT: sorry, this is two pages ago... had this thread up on another computer, lol.

i could never respect bush BECAUSE of the iraq war. my opinion: completely unnecessary. would i go as far as to say it was a fight for freedom? far from it. did the soldiers die for nothing? definitely not. i dont think they died for their country as much as i believe they died defending themselves and their fellow servicemen who were caught up in an ugly war.

my reasoning for this is simple. after 9/11, bush went to richard clark, and asked him, "what do we have on iraq?" i am a firm believer that the iraq war was more about finishing what bush sr started, and special interests, ie haliburton. good documentary to watch is "no end in sight" and "iraq for sale: the war profiteers". the first is pretty unbiased in my opinion. basically just a collection of interviews from the main players of the planning and first stages of the way. the latter, more biased, a little less professional IMO. but still makes great points and brings into light a lot of good information about all the companies making a LOT of money off the war.

crazy liberal view of the war? probably.

We all do this. And it doesn't make us "bad" people. We are normal. It is part of the male ego and certainly a by-product of high testosterone and the gym "battleground" environment. We fantasize about what could possibly happen. We are ever on the pychological defensive position. We are mentally prepping ourselves for probable confrontation and battle. No harm done if you don't carry it out to fruition. But if we are "jumped", we want to be mentally, emotionally, and physically ready. :duel:

I'm in the same long boat as you my friend. ha ha I have to watch every calorie that I take in to get lean. But it's easy as all Hel to add mass and weight. I'm glad that I have peeled off 40 lbs. of blubber over the last 15 months, but I know I lost a lot of muscle mass as well. My "friends" tell me so. LMAO I'm walking the tightrope of trying to keep as much mass as possible, and yet remaining as lean as possible at the same time. It's a labor of love!! :hammer:

Regardless, the office of President commands respect.

I agree. Respect The Office even if you don't respect the man. The Office of the American Presidency is something to be respected for sure. I'll have to work up to that myself, but I'm not going to be resisting tooth & nail or anything.

I also understand what you're saying Roland. If Obama does something I find outrageous and in my views, perhaps even un-American, respecting the office even if you don't respect the man will be much harder to comply with. However, it is my wish and intention. The seat of the free world is one to be respected and whoever commands authority over that seat should ideally be covered in that respect.

I'll be MORE then happy if Obama governs America toward something better, not spiteful like I've been proven wrong. I'm not waiting at the edge of my chair for an opportunity to point my fingers at the Democratic party. I sincerely hope for the best.

Unrelated to Obama. Our governor Arnold Swarzendether, if he has his way, Los Angeles Counties sales tax will be up to 9.25%. I admire Arnie as a bodybuilding legend, I truly do. I love reading articles on anything related to the golden years of bodybuilding and anything with him on the cover I buy. However, as a governor, I can't stand this guy. He lies and outright lies like no other and has been giving California an Enema with a Harry Potter sized book ever since he took office.

I am going to have to completely disagree with this as well. You think all of it was bullsh1t? sounds like what the media said.imo

Take it to the politics forum man. I want to get updates on Volcom's success with this log. Not people's opinions on politics.

Bush should've been impeached immediately after the Iraq nonsense. Personal agenda all day long. Do I believe the media reports coming out that Bush lied to all of us?? Well sure.

Y'know, it's crazy to think how different history would've been if Gore would've (rightfully) been elected in 2000. Possibly no 9-11, definitely no Iraq invasion, more than likely not the financial depression & situation we have now.. the last 8 yrs. should never have happened to begin with.. but I like playing devil's advocate. It did, and Bush's idiocy has crushed the Republican party - for now..

i honestly havent watched any mainstream media (liberal or conservative) about the war in a couple years. and ive never heard the media say the war was bullsh*t.

and would it be so hard to believe that all our leaders are after is money? a couple people tried estimating the cost of rebuilding iraq. the one that comes to mind is a professor from yale who said it would be about 1 trillion dollars over 10 years. who wouldnt want a piece of this?

and im not one to say it was about oil.

sounds good. although it was like we replaced the talk of food, girls, food, fighting, and football with politics haha.

back to the log and non political banter

This will get us back on track!

Day 21

After yesterdays fiasco of 2 lifting sessions and 3 HIIT sessions, I feel like hell this morning. I would actually love to workout tonight, except I have no muscle group left to train. On the bright side, I have DOMS in my traps, which is one of my favorite places to be sore.

By day 21, meaning 21 days of consecutive, daily ingestion of a full dose of White Flood CAPS, I'm starting to develop somewhat of a tolerance to the physical energy aspects. However, what continues to be energized at a consistently high level still, are the mental aspects. 21 days isn't bad for consecutive usage of a pre-workout. For me, RPM's tolerance builds up in about 10-14 days of consecutive use, to the point of almost irrelevance. RPM has my favorite first day impact, but then it dwindles in folds. Perhaps it's White Flood's nootropic properties that's floating my energy or perceived energy at this point.

DTHC/Sunami. I'll know how my strength is effected when I can bench again. Perhaps one or two more sessions.

When all is said and done, I may just take a week off from bodybuilding. I'll still be performing HIIT with my athlete's. I've been pushing my body without any real rest for quite awhile now. I probably should have taken note when my bench gains came to a screeching halt, then began declining (clear signs of overtraining). However, my left pec injury has forced me to rest my chest for almost two full weeks (which meant other body parts were pushed into higher gear). Hopefully, my chest will be recharged enough to finish out this ride.

You know, some time for healing isn't too bad every once in a while. It's just about the 'timing' of the break. Irish is taking a week off in December, and probably just enjoying that Christmas eating for a week straight, which would, to me, be an ideal time to take a week off. You're BOUND to consume lots of calories when you're around mom's homecookin', so it'll still be an anabolic week ! lol .. As for you, Samoan [Volcom], you may just need a couple of days off . . through Monday of next week perhaps. And then get back in to it. Today, tomorrow and Sunday off would be ideal for you at this point in time, I'd say . .

I've got the timing down to where I usually take a break every twelve weeks. I like to travel, so I'll usually take a break when I am out of town. I like to "save up" my off time for when I need it. If a trip comes up out of nowhere, then I can take a week off, because it has probably been at least twelve weeks anyways. It hasn't failed me yet doing it this way.

That's a short enough and bearable suggestion. I'll take that into the heaviest of considerations, thanks Thomas.
