One hell of a cheat meal last night with 2 caps at one of the better burger joints in Cincinnati

Amazingly I didn't feel over the top full. I was extremely hungry going into the meal. When I got home, I thought I might need a bedtime snack but I just drank a bunch of water and was set after that. So I think Blood Drive did its job with helping my body process that food.

And then there was this morning's workout!!! I had my normal PWO - rounded scoop CL White Flood (2016 formula) + 1g Taurine + 2g Citrulline. This gets me going but I didn't feel better than normal. I didn't take in any carbs PWO just 1.5 scoops SAN Titanium Whey. It was legs/shoulders day. Squats SS lateral raises was first up. After my first set of squats, I knew it was ON. Full workout:

4x Squats SS lateral raises 75 sec rest
4x RDL SS lying reverse fly 90 sec rest
4x leg ext SS weighted leg curls on swiss ball SS single leg calf raises minimal rest
15 min HIIT cardio

I got an extra 1-2 reps on pretty much every set throughout my workout. This was enough progress to go up in weight for most exercises next workout. This kind of shocked me because I hadn't been eating for growth the past couple weeks. I would like to attribute this to my cheat meal and Blood Drive getting the food/nutrients where they needed to be. Walking into work today, dress pants were fitting a little tighter than usual around my quads.
 
Oh sh!t. I was treated to an Indian lunch buffet today. Just know I did some damage - 3 plates full. Really full right now. I'll have to report back later on how two caps helped me out. No more cheat meals for a while!!!
 
Blood Drive met its match against the Indian buffet. Food coma an hour later around 2:00. Finally snapped out of it around 3. Still full at 5:00. Really thirsty. I doubt I'll need much if anything to eat the rest of the day, haha. Tomorrow's workout should be good though :)
 
Didn't have to eat anything the rest of the day yesterday. Good thing is I have minimal soreness from leg day - rarely happens. As expected, really good chest/back/arms workout this morning. I didn't need any carbs pwo, just 1.5 scoops San titanium whey.
 
Well at least you finally got full at that buffet. Bet it was tasty. I can’t eat Indian food if I don’t wanna piss off the missus. We are gassy around each other all the time, but Indian food has me bringing it on another level entirely!

I had to endure some intense heat. All of their chicken dishes lit me up!
 
2 caps for dinner last - 4 sloppy joe sliders, celery and humus, corn - I could tell I still didn't have my normal hunger from that buffet. I didn't need a bedtime snack.
20 minutes of fasted Tabata hiit cardio then some abs this morning. I was wanting to run but not in this zero degree weather!
 
2 caps with dinner - large bowl of cooled oats mixed with chobani fat free Greek yogurt, cinnamon, splenda, almonds, also baby carrots, Brussels sprouts, finished off my last little bit of hunger with some chicken
Lots of volume to this meal but the bloat didn't last long
 
The scale is messing with me, just weighed in at 193. Don't know where that came from, but I'll take it!
 
Killed some legs today with 15 min of HIIT cardio. I'll be going up in weight on a couple exercises next week. IFN MaxOut was probably not the right pwo for such an intense workout. Heart was beating out of my chest on leg press SS BB walking lunges. Already starving for dinner. Crock pot beef brisket is on the menu tonight!
 
Hunger has been raging since yesterday. I messed up and didn't eat enough leading up to my leg workout. I tore through dinner yesterday with 2 caps - lots of beef brisket, sweet potatoes, green beans. Then shortly after dinner I just kept snacking then a big bedtime meal. My daughter's school got cancelled at 5:00am this morning then I couldn't go back to sleep because I was wide awake hungry. I had quite a few carbs (for me) plus 1.5 scoops protein powder when I finally got out of bed. Then I proceeded to kill my upper body workout + 15 min Tabata HIIT cardio. I think my body finally used up all of those extra calories from those cheat meals :)
 
We had to get out the house last night for dinner with the kids being indoors for 3 straight days and went to Rusty Bucket for dinner. I had 2 caps with the healthiest thing on the menu - chicken taco salad, no dressing just a lot of salsa. I could have had 4x that amount of chicken. Then I finished both of my kids' pizzas and my wife's wedge salad. It was a late dinner so I was really hungry. I was full for about a whole 15 minutes. When we got home I immediately raided the fridge for some leftovers - ate a mix of chicken, sloppy joes, and beef brisket with some baked tostitos to top it off. I finally got satisfied enough to where I didn't think I would wake up this morning starving.

Surprisingly still weighed 193 this morning, actually down a few tenths. My legs are a little more sore than I think they should be from leg day on Thursday. I guess I'm still not eating enough. Blood drive seems to be helping with my recomp/maintenance goal.

I had to skip my afternoon snack yesterday with the way the day played out with the family. So I was really hungry for dinner.

2 caps with
1 cup oats then cooked and mixed with 4 scrambled eggs, it might sound gross but I do this a lot
1 beef brisket slider
bag of brussels sprouts

It was an "eat whatever you want dinner" since wife and son hadn't been feeling good.

After about an hour, the hunger was coming back. After 2 hours, I was really hungry again and downed a large late night snack.
 
- 1/4 cup oats cooked then cooled mixed with some Kroger carbmaster yogurt, chocolate protein powder containing 45g protein, dollop of peanut butter, handful of crushed up cheerios, I make the oats ahead of time, then I just keep adding stuff depending on hunger
- lots of pistachios
- lot of baby carrots
- there could have been a stalk of celery with some humus, not sure, haha
 
This morning I only did 10 minutes of Tabata HIIT cardio instead of 15. I took out a superset, added some extra rest and went heavier on squats and RDLs. Felt gooooood. I'll probably do the something similar with the other 3 workouts this week since I've been killing the cardio lately.

I was on the fence about having a late night snack/meal, opted not and payed for it. I woke up at 5 am starving and didn't get back to sleep.
Great chest/back/arms workout plus 10 min Tabata HIIT cardio this morning. My carbs seem to be getting utilized well. As Rich Piana would say, full as f*ck.

Weight up to 195, had unlimited jimmy Johns for lunch two days ago, didn't have any blood drive, feeling a little sloppy, skipping breakfast this morning

That jimmy Johns backed me up i think, had a big BM this morning, interested to see what the scale says tomorrow. The same thing happened with that damn Indian buffet. It's like huge meals turn into undigestible goo in my digestive tract.

Weekend Summary -
Friday and Sunday I had my normal 2 caps with dinner consisting of around 50g protein, 80g carbs, 30g fat with lots of veggies.
Saturday for dinner was another cheat meal at a family gathering. I made sure I was plenty hungry for this meal. I had 2 plates full of nachos covered in sausage and cheese dip, 2 smaller slices of pizza, broccoli/cauliflower and humus. I tried not to overeat but that never happens when it's all you can eat for free. I did get a little bit of a food coma. I shouldn't have been tired because I had a potent energy drink a couple hours before. I was so thirsty the rest of the day.

Saturday was fasted HIIT cardio, abs, 2 mi run. Sunday was fasted HIIT cardio, 2.6 mi run. Both runs sucked because my legs were still sore from Thursday's leg day.

This morning I weighed 196 BEFORE a big BM. I'm not surprised I'm weighing this much, my legs have been feeling really full lately. I had a great leg/shoulder/HIIT cardio workout this morning. Energy levels were way up. I saw good increases on both squat and RDLs. I think this is evident that Blood Drive is helping with nutrient partitioning. I'm seeing good strength increases with minimal weight gain.

The next two weeks I'm going to try to go back into a slight calorie deficit. I'll probably be wrapping up this log in the next week.

Weighed 195 this morning. Body is still cleansing itself of the sausage cheese dip. I forgot to mention I skipped my afternoon snack yesterday, had the early dinner then a small bedtime snack which was just protein powder sludge.

Great workout this morning - chest /back /arms/HIIT cardio. I saw some performance increases. Energy levels still felt great. I feel like I'm going in to my workouts with a full tank, muscles fully loaded with glycogen.
 
Man, I have a couple knots in my upper back from going apesh!t on RDLs yesterday, in need of a massage! I don't ever remember having knots like this after a deadlift day.

Also today's good workout was on less than 7 hours of sleep. I didn't get to sleep until after 10:30. I woke up just before 5 really hungry. I don't think I slept much after that. IFN MaxOut was pwo of choice, hoping I don't crash today.
 
Needed a cup of coffee to get through the afternoon.

2 caps with dinner:
Ground turkey soft tacos
Broccoli and humus
Banana and grapes

Gonna need a two scoop protein powder sludge tonight mixed with some plain carbmaster yogurt and peanut butter, nutrition was on point today and will be for next several days.
 
Late afternoon cardio workout yesterday - 15 min Tabata HIIT cardio including mountain climbers, Kettlebell swings, burpees; 12 min of abs; 2.6 mile run
Run sucked. I wasn't sore, it's just my legs were spent from the first part of the workout.
Late dinner - plate full of whole wheat spaghetti and meatballs, salad, broccoli and hummus
Today, killed a late morning leg/HIIT cardio workout. I felt like I had a full tank even though calories have been lower.
In-laws are treating us to dinner this evening. Let's see if I can control myself. I normally can if I'm on a designated lower calorie diet.

I kept dinner reasonable last night. 2 caps with :
1.5 quesodilla triangles, bowl of chicken tortilla soup, Southwest chicken salad with double chicken, no dressing and extra salsa
I was plenty full but not uncomfortable. I didn't need a late night snack or pwo food this morning. I did weigh 196 this morning but that was before a BM.
Upper body workout was awesome. Once again, I felt like my muscles were fully stocked. I got a sick pump on reverse grip chin up SS strength band standing chest press. I did my 15 min of Tabata HIIT cardio then still had enough in the tank to do an extra 5 min of jumping jacks. I saw some small performance increases here and there.
Things I have been noticing - muscles are feeling fully primed for my workouts and the pump comes on easier.
