ViSalus.....just venting here

Put it to these test r1 & let us know

what were your results?

and do you think i would pay for that? lol

he was probably one of the original testers for Visalus way back in '09 when they were getting on their feet, but he won't admit it, and will say he did it "with some protein powder" or some cool MRP from a big nutrition company LMFAO

Hey guys. New to the boards here on anabolic minds. Glad to be able a part of a great forum. Probably not the best way to introduce myself...but f it... Here to clear some air about Visalus. Going to be blunt about it. Yes their products are overpriced, over-hyped, and over marketed but the fact of the matter is...people are taking the challenge, people are getting healthy, and people are feeling good about themselves. I, personally, am involved with promoting the challenge. I promote it to everyday people. Elders, retired, veterans, actor's, dancers. I am in extreme college debt and this was a great way to make a side income. DO I FEEL BAD FOR HAVING PEOPLE BUY AN EXPENSIVE PRODUCT? No...I do not. I help my clients with their nutrition/training regimen to make up for it. Should the idiots selling it, with no dietary/training knowledge feel bad for selling it? I do not know...In my opinion, yes, they should but they are in it for the money and free car...I am in it as a means to help support my struggling family, my self, and motivate people to lead a healthy lifestyle. Anyone on this board would be moronic to purchase their products in thinking it will help them with their goals. Give me some 1,3, yohimbine, agmatine, and 1200 mg. of caffeine to get jacked up...not an expensive over-rated shake...but if an extremely obese diabetic comes to one of my shake parties and finds that Visalus is a great motivator and wants to challenge herself for 90 days...then I say why not? What is wrong with that? Is it a pyramid scheme? Ehhh...yes and no. You are getting commission either way. It is really what you put into it. Both my parents are permanently disabled, out of work, taking the challenge, and helping me promote it. So some people do it with honesty and cause...some do it for greed and materialism. Did I get a bmw yet? No. I did not. But I have many clients who text me everyday saying this has saved their lives and that makes me feel good. So, yes, I just ranted. I may get negged. Things happen. But it really is not as bad as it seems.

have somebody do that 90 day 20 pounds of muscle challenge with before/after pics as well as before/after hormone panel by the same doctor at the same time during the day....then i will believe it.

as far as the 90 day losing weight challenge, anybody can drink a protein shake in place of a meal and lose weight. whats so special about ViSalus?

And I completely agree with everything everyone is saying...it is just a shake...with some other stuff. Nothing special or revolutionary.

i dont have a problem with something that works and changes peoples lives. the problem is MOST reps for them act like its a new magic pill and that they believe in goals that literally are impossible. and im not gonna neg you, this isnt BB.com . but dude, in all honesty, here is the truth

no matter what your goals are, whether its to build or cut, the best way to reach your goals is by eating proper whole foods, not a shake. everybody will tell you that real food is better than powder. dont get me wrong, powder does have its place in my diet. but anybody who drinks a shake in place of a meal will lose weight, so whats so great about visalus? go get pure whey protein, have a person drink it for breakfast, in between lunch and dinner, and at night and give them a meal plan for the other meals and i bet they would lose more weight than they would on visalus because its a better protein. not a blend of crap mixed with soy.

honestly, whats so special about visalus?

And I completely agree with everything everyone is saying...it is just a shake...with some other stuff. Nothing special or revolutionary.

then i really hate Visalus now for scamming their own reps and making them believe in all the hype

I understand where you would see it as a scam. I just can't fully find the words to explain how it is not. I think, simply, if someone sees something and gets excited about it and firmly believes in themselves to try something new, stick to it, and feel good about it.... Then I just can't see issues in that. If they lead a poor, miserable, unhealthy life and Visalus is the tool needed to get their foot in the door towards a healthier life...then I think that in itself is awesome, regardless of it being a shake, a high protein candy bar, shake weight haha...whatever. If something motivates someone, gets the gears going...and then down the road does research and realizes ok...I can save some bucks trying other things...then great! Idk. I know I am not going to change any opinions. Was not trying to either. I just wanted to prove that there are people out there involved with Visalus that are extremely honest, humble, and caring about what they can give back to the people.

And I really appreciate your input on all of this man. I do.

im not doubting it works at all. well, with the 20 pounds of muscle in 90 days i am, but im talking about weight loss here. i know it works, but so does pure whey protein that is cheaper and can be just as affective with a lot of money saved.

im just saying its sad to see people who dont know what the crap they are doing and turning to visalus. they could join a forum like this and learn all they need to know for free and just eat right and it doesnt cost them anything.

and i wont start on the gain 20 pounds of pure muscle in 90 days. i dont know how your owner sells that. anybody who has a pea for a brain knows thats impossible. and the funny thing is is the owner is pretty skinny lol

Haha yeah it is actually funny. I am sure he followed a lot of protocol that is found on forums which, again, leads me to this....95 percent of the clueless, fat, lazy community is more likely to watch one of their videos than know how to join a forum and get involved in conversation. That is why the business is growing rapidly and very successful. Social Media. Took advantage of it and got to it. Quickly.

O man i like this thread!!!
Visalus is just a bunch trained marketing scabs that will feed the consumer what they want to hear. All day every day I get asked from friends and family about what to take to or what to do about having a health lifestyle, the keys is whole foods and exercise being healthy is far from just drinkin a shake to replace a meal, motivation to start should come from words of encouragement not a product, if the sellers had half a bit of heart, at there "challenge party's" thy should inform the consumer about healthy living not ways to achieve BMW status or what not,

Pure crap if you ask me. I will stick with my whey. And I will never ever promote or recommend this product to anyone.

What if the person at the party guided them along the way providing them help with exercise regimens, whole food meals, and inspiration to lead a better life along with the program? Would you consider that worthwhile then? Specifically for those who are less educated with that field. Not challenging you... Generously curious. A lot of what I am reading here is useful and actually quite revealing to me. I am taking all of this in. Thank you for your opinion.

"if" and that's a big "if" guided so called person he or she would not recommend visalus to that person, reason is there are alot cheaper products and better products out there. I have yet gotten any proof to some o the claims that's being throw out there on Facebook everyday!!! Just got one that said a girl won $250,000, and lost 4-6%bf in 90days so I asked what was her before and after BF% and what answer did I get? Umm she didn't get it checked it was just a estimate how can you estimate such a slim margin? Saying she added about 6-10lbs of lean mass? No proof no nothing at all, the owner of visalus has claimed what 20lbs of lean mass in 90days does he realize that most steroids users barely see 20 in 90days, and if they do it ain't lean it's water weight, so understand from a consumer point of view that understands nutrition and supplementation.

The people who buy into this are the same people who think creatine is a steroid.

Dude I agree with you 100%.

Hey guys I really appreciate the honesty and opinions. Truly. Now I have to decide what to do next. I basically do this to help support my two disabled parents at 21 years of age. I try my best to make up for the expensive price in weekly phone consultations/workout regimens every two weeks/monthly half hour phone conversations discussing next month's plan to compensate for the expensive price. It is just fun for me to help spread wellness, get people to eat right, and be able to help put on my family's table. If I offended anyone with my questions. My apologies. Thank you for your time and your responses. Greatly appreciated. I wish the best of holidays and a happy new year for you all.

you do what you have to do to support your family. thats all we are just saying what we are feeling, if you cant or dont like reading i suggest just look away

I think I've had just about enough of this Visalus thread.....I hope it gets locked for being a non-sponsor thread. Invalid Link RemovedInvalid Link Removed

iForce Protean or Visalus...which one is better?

STOP BASHING THIS PRODUCT UNTIL YOU TRY IT!

I think thats what i learned from the NTBM multilevel marketing product thread. After disproving every aspect of the product. They told me the science behind it doesnt mean **** and to not judge it until you see the logs/try it yourself. Your friends and everyone else say its good stuff, so it is. What you think means nothing.

Just kidding. You should teach them the whey protein/oatmeal trick. One cup of oatmeal in a coffee grinder mixed with a scoop of protein. 3x a day and its like steroids if youve never used a protein supplement and have an "average" non BBer diet.

maybe the mods could just combine them, so we don't have to look at both threads separately.....and we can witness our train wreck in one convenient place.

That is some major rationalization on your part. If you truly want to give back to people, then why charge such a high amount for an average product?

Go to you tube now and look for the video about it you can find it there. And the product is not over priced all you guys want to do is bash any product that is not intended for bodybuilding. I nor do I know of anyone that has said that you can use this product as a bodybuilding supplement, it is a meal replacement. I am sure you will come up with something else to trash Visalus but it is sad that you have to without looking into it and maybe even trying it.

dude, dont tell me this. i have a friend who works for them and he tried the 90 day challenge to put on 20 pounds of "pure muscle" in 90 days and failed and he told me its a joke. ITS PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE WITHOUT STEROIDS. even with steroids, its hard to put on 20 pounds of PURE MUSCLE in that short amount of time

and yes, it is over priced. its 1.50/serving or around there. my whey protein can be a meal replacement with more protein than visalus and better for you for around .40 a serving.

and im not saying its a bodybuilding supplement. im saying its a scam.

1.) you cant put on 20 pounds of pure muscle in three months naturally. (or even in one year). its physically impossible and i have real proof

2.) its around 1.50 a serving which is over priced for a product that only has 12g of a blended protein thats mainly SOY protein, not whey

3.) your owner is the skinniest dude in the world and he said he put on 20 pounds of muscle.

4.) i have yet to see before and after pictures of a real "nobody" that took visalus on a non biased website and showed it worked. actually, i can link you to many sites where people say it does NOT work.

5.) i have looked into it. ive researched on it for about 4 hours and now have many friends who are distributors.

6.) i will NEVER try it because i know its over priced and i get get a better powder for cheaper

i second this. i will pay also if you gain 20 pounds of MUSCLE in 3 months.....

just answer me this one question please:

how can you gain 20 pounds off of a meal replacement that has 12 g of a blended protein with only around 200 calories? my meals are 2 - 4x that much in calories and i struggle to consistently put on weight. how is something less going to magically do it?

I'd say it can be 20 pounds in a year yes... ALL muscle not 100% on that.
u r right 1.50 for soy protein? nan...

Tell him to remember no super-drol ;)

but i will say that for over weight people, if they take it as a meal replacement, they will lose weight. but its not because visalus is this awesome product....its because they are eating 200 calories instead of 800. any protein shake would do that

Ive seen some newbies throw on 20lbs or close to it in a year of muscle. Thats less than 2 lbs a month/ half lb a week. But after that u slow down. Ive gone from 140 to 200 in 4 years. My secret? ViSalus ;)
