Idunk, good point ;), Pit, I'll hunt you down like a dog :D,
Mokie, haha, well that's not the point, but god idea, I like your way of thinking ;).

Now the bad news.... the 2 pound gain yesterday musta been water retention, it was gone this morning. :( :rant:

So what's your Diet look like for this cycle? Macros, cals?

AVG Macro %
For the week
Protein 0.44
Carbs 0.35
Fat 0.21
Calories 3847

I cycle up and down on carbs thru the week depending on if it's a w/o day or not. But overall that's my breakdown for the week. The goal is a lean bulk with minimal fat gain. My Trainer will monitor for another week and if cal adjustments need to me made, he'll do so then. Michael did a excellent job on my recomp so I have no reason to doubt anything he says for my lean bulk :)

Looks good, nice and slow!

Note: I see I screwed up on the number for the "Day", these are w/o days only. I'll start with actual days into 12 week bulk cycle Sunday. Today is actually Day 10 into the plan.

Very nice workout Viperbeast :) Glad you made it thru another tough workout!!!!! WhoooooHooooooo we get a day off now :D

Why thank you, than you very much. You had a great one yourself. You know what my favorite workout day is quickly becoming? .................................. Rest Day :D

Hey man I got to tell you, Ive been watching your log as well as FnF's and I got to say, you two are awesome! Its pretty inspiring to see the effort that you each put in each and every day. Im also liking the supplements used by each of you. Im very interested in the Jungle Warfare,Lean Dreams,Bulk Cissus because Im thinking of using them as well as Restore on my future bulk. I have been using Cissus RX and love it. Well anyway, Good Luck and Ill be watching :)

Thanks TimoteoS. We appreciate the compliments. One thing that I'm noticing about the JW (I believe it's the JW that's doing it, is more vascularity). I have veins in my biceps I haven't seen before, so I'm liking that for sure.

As fas as Cissus goes, I've been on that for a long time for my tendons. It helped heal some nasty tears in my left arm w hile back so I've continued to take it daily. I'm actually on Bulk Cissus right now at appx 4g x 2/day.

The Primed was definitely giving me some great pumps and my quads felt hard as a rock afterwards.

Still dosing the JW at 3/day, which I believe is going very well. Although my weight was at 233 this morning. Maybe doing some calorie adjustments this coming week depending on what my Trainer says.

Thanks man. I'd love to add size to my quads, any size will do but I really need about 4 inches to start with. :)

additional note: Still getting used to the Flat Bench w/o routine. I should have pushed for the 7, 5, 3, thiunk I could have got it, then move up another 10 next week.

Haven't got my Dip belt yet and didn't want to screw with a DB between the legs so I did unweighted dips.

Regeneration X: Wow, I'm really starting to respect this product. I had the Squat Night from hell as I lovingly call it Sunday night and my legs and ass are slightly sore, not bad at all. I've noticed some great recovery using this product. Overall I don't get as sore as I was before by any means which then I wonder if I wroked out hard enough. But then I see the progression in weights, and I know I did. Cheers to the ALRI Team. :)

Oh man I have been reading Fits and your log this whole time and ahh the memorys.... I see you guys keep talking about waiting on machines, BLAH I don't miss that place at all lol. Well I do miss the sexy hot woman working out there, but thats about it!!!

But good workout so far viper, you better watch out fit is tearing some shet up pretty soon you will be wearing the apron asking what would you like for dinner hunny? HHAHA Good job guys!!!

Pit, it's really only bad on Mondays period. You get the guys and girls that decide that Monday is their w/o day, then you don't see them the rest of the week. It's ridiculous, we are going to eat dinner first next Monday and go around 9pm so the once-a-weekers are gone :D

Thanks Pitt.
Sunday, Mon, Wed, Fri. are workout days.
We're usually there around 6:30 pm

Let me know if you want to go. I'd also like to check out Powerhouse with you sometime. I think there's still one over here in Canton, maybe not though.

Yeah I think there is 1 in Canton still, by TC gators if I'm not mistaken. When I make it to LF it will be 1 of your Friday workouts.

Supplementation
* ALRI N-Gorge
* ALRI Primed
* ALRI Regeneration X
* ALRI Jungle Warfare
* ALRI Lean Dreams
* Daily Multivitamin
* 1000mg Vit C
* Bulk Cissus
* Flax Oil
* Olive Oil

This looks good as I am eagerly awaiting to try some Jugnle Warfare. I really like Primed(I add some BCAA) and Regeneration X.

Just wondering, if you experience any joint issue from combining the Cissus and Jungle Warfare?

Size, I have not had any joint issues at all. I take the Cissus for my elbow tendons in both arms that sometimes get very painful. I'll try and get an answer from an ALRI Rep on this for you and see what they have to say about mixing them.

I drink my BCAA's (Xtend or Xcell during my workouts). So far everythings been a good mix. I've had some nice strength increases, looking for some size increases down the line here with the JW :)

No need. I was just wondering b/c Cissus Rx caused me to exeprience pain due to the cortisol manipulation. Conseqeuently, I was just wondering if the combining of Jungle Warfare with the Cissus would cause this to occur in someone who had already used Cissus w/o problems.

Good w/o, what kind of leg press do you have? Are those shrugs with a pause/hold or up and down?
Our sled is a Cybex and it's garbage, my back kills me on that POS (90degree seat) so for the next 10 months no leg press for me.

I know what you mean about the Cybex leg press. I got stuck using one last week. :(
I like the Hammer Strength sled much better.
Also, if you want something nasty.... try the Cybex leg extension machine.

I'll have to check and see what brand they are. They are more like 45 degree sleds. Yea they even tend to mess with my lower back a bit as well. Of couse my ROM is prolly like 2 - 2 1/2 feet with long legs :D

Still quite a chunk of weight on there! 45degree is cool, I can normally deal with those, but if I go to heavy the pressure gets to my lower back so if I do them it's at the end of a w/o with light weight.

I wanted to ask you what you think of the LeanDreams? I was taking USPs REM but now it's keeping me up, hows the LD working?

Basso, the Lean Dreams is working so-so right now in terms of sleep. It really relaxes me, but I tend to drink a lot of water, up to time to go to bed. I try and expell as much as possible before going to bed, but I have been waking up in the middle of the night to go again.
The nights that I do sleep thru, it's awesome, wake up feeling refreshed and great. I may have to start cutting off the water an hour or 2 before bed.
As far as the fat oxidation properties are concerned, that's a tough one for me to evaluate. It's one of thos things that you really can't attribute and fat loss strictly to LD. I like to think of it as an extra benifit to my restful sleep.

Overall a good workout tonight. Went up on Preacher Curls, and Concentration curls, but I think I'll go back down on CC's and work on form more.

I get severe forearm cramps, pumps, or something going on on any overhanded grip movement. Why is that? For instance on BB Rows, it's not my Lats wearing out, it's my forearms. I feel them on Lat Pulldowns, Chins, T-Bar Rows, you name it, anything with an overhand grip. I didn't feel it when I did Deadlifts in the past though, kinda weird.
Anyone else have this issue?

wouldnt you be using your forearm a great deal in all of those exervises (lat pull down, rows, and so on.) The deadlift I feel like your forearms are more just a connection point and not getting worked as hard as when your pulling. And when your using your forearms more in the pulling exercises it would be as if you were doing a sole forarm exercise and pump should be noticable.

Great log man and awsome job. Been following it and just wanted to jump in.

Thanks OCC :)
Yea, those exercises use the forearms quite a bit, but I'm still curious if others feel the cramps. or pumps, whatever the feeling is that I get. I feel like My Lats can go more reps on each set, but there's no way my forearms are gonna let me.

If you want to alleviate stress on the forearms during these lifts, use straps. While I don't like to use them so much it will allow you to concentrate on not involving the arms as much. You will beable to use your arms as a connection rather then a primary mover.

Basso, thanks for the input. I was using straps :( It didn't matter, the feeling was still there.

Can't believe I'm going to say this but try loosening your grip a bit and concentrate on using your lats to pull the weight. Think of your arms as a means to use your lats, you can almost eliminate them entirely of course the weight will have to come down, but you can get some isolation on the lats once you find the sweet spot.

I'd rather suffer through the arm pain myself, just means I don't need to work my arms as hard:head:

Yea, maybe it's my death grip on the bar that causing the issue. I'll try this next week and let you know how it works out, thanks for the help :)

Ya i don't like using straps unless i have to, i say go without then but if on your last set or so your forearms are toast then put them on.

I'm pro death grip myself! It adds a whole new dimension to your w/o, but we need to be flexible and do what gives the best advantage.

Good news: Today is the first time on my bulk so far that I've gained 1 pound 2 days in a row :) 225.5 this morning. Hope it sticks.

Old habits? are you a former militant? 17.25 is not to be scoffed at, anyway looking good, how's the leg w/o coming? When your ready to get big legs let me know and I'll hook ya up! Secrets are secrets though so just be forwarned.

yes, former military here. 4 years in the USAF. I'm into week 3 of my bulking routine and a new w/o schedule, my Trainers got me hooked up with a new Leg Routine as well, so with the extra cals, and w/o, I'm hoping to get these babies growing. :) If not, then I'll hit you up ;)
