Yea well you got it way worse than me man hang in there
Thanks bud. Sitting in my car so I can use my phone for entertainment is keeping me sane for now. I'll be thrilled if I can get to the gym later.

Day 42
Things are looking up. I got a hot tip on where to find gas lol, got a ride, and filled up a couple cans with 5 gallons worth. I even saw a few trucks from an out of state utility company not far from home.
I'm gonna hit the gym shortly and pray that they're actually working on the power situation while I'm gone. I might hold off on legs for today because I'm not sure if I'm mentally prepared for it with everything else going on. I'll see what happens when I get there.
Hope all goes well man! At least the gym will help u stay sane for a bit. I'm in PA and we got so lucky we only ended up with a few inches. Loosing power sucks. When hurricane sandy came through we lost power for a week and that sucked big time!! Glass half full man!! Have a great work out. Also, thanks for tossing up some of those exercise videos. I added some new exercises to my routine. Good looking out!!!
Where do you live Breezy?
Breezy if ur interested I'm running a log with Versa in my PCT as well.
I can't post links yet but here is it broken up so u can find it if ur interested.

Also, I noticed that I am constantly looking forward to the gym more so now that I've been on Versa then before I started Versa. I saw that u posted that its only been a few days but couldn't wait to get into the gym. I'm wondering do u feel that extra drive on Versa?
I feel that Versa may being giving me an edge by increasing my motivation...
Day 42 continued
I got in a decent shoulder workout. I didn't record my numbers because I was in a rush and my phone would've died anyway (that's how I track workouts normally). My focus wasn't as great as it usually is because I was thinking about getting home and starting a fire before it got dark...I didn't make it in time lol. Either way it felt good to get out and do something normal.
I'm way behind on calories for the day. I've only had a shake early this morning and another after my workout. I'm going to see what I can come up with shortly and probably have another shake before I call it a night.

Way to deal with your tough situation and put in a workout. Hope things get better for you as you guys dig out of this snow storm,
Glad you were able to get the training in.
What do you use to track your workouts. I carry around a notebook. Do you have an "App for that" or do u just toss it in a notes section of you phone?
Good job brother... hope all clears out for you soon, and they get your power restored...
Good log so far buddy. I'm curious on your Alcar dosing. Do you always take all 2g pre workout? Have u tried spreading it out?
Thanks man. I usually use the 2g pre workout, mainly for a little added focus. I've tried different dosing options, but that's how I prefer to use it the majority of the time. Another time I've used it in the past is first thing in the morning (1g) with Agmatine and Na-R-ALA and again in the afternoon. Both times being before a high carb meal.
Got it. This is my first time using Alcar and I'm trying to find out what best worked for people. The way u running it seems to be the most logical way if focus is something you really want while working out and who doesn't right? Lol. I appreciate it big man.
Back workout fasted !!!!
Meadow style to say the least !!!!
Breezy has officially gone nutso due to lack of heat and food.
Gotta hand it to you. You don't let anything affect your training. That's why it's fun to follow along.
Great job !
damn breezy. damn.
Stay safe brother.
Hey DW good to see you back around these parts!!!!
Distilled Water said:Thanks, good to be back. You staying safe & warm over there in MA with all this snow?
Stay safe brother.
Hey DW good to see you back around these parts!!!!
Im good breezy got it the worst we disnt lose power where im at
Thanks brother. Things are much better now.
x2. DW, did you make it to your new place yet?
.
Good to hear!
Not yet. Given the weather situation, I decided to hold tight here in the south for a few more days until all that nasty weather is long gone.
I haven't completely lost my mind yet, but I see it as a possibility lol.
Thanks as always Fumoney! If I didn't have the gym as an option right now things would be a lot worse. It's a nice break from everything else going on.
I just had a big meal consisting of pancakes, waffles, a bagel, eggs, chicken sausage, and ground beef (all gluten free). Solid food FTW! I used 2 caps of AP about 30mins before the carb assault.
I've got tha power!
I'm so ridiculously happy right now.
Morning fasted workout. YIKES!!! I'm not into morning workouts to begin with but damn you plowed through it fasted. Bonus to u man.
And damn nice eats there. I noticed while on Versa when I have a cheat day and eat crazy like that all my muscle full up solid and I get pumped up doing nothing and feel like a beast. Also I noticed the scale goes up 5 pounds in 2 days lol.
Hope that poll get you the electric you need.
Also, wanted to let you know that I posted my latest experiences in my log today. Today is day 12 for me an the magic has started for me. Today I felt great all day, alpha feeling, focus at gym, excellent pumps, and weights increased. So 12 days was my magic number and I'm looking forward to continued success. I posted up my workout and diet summary for today.
Good luck with everything man!
Great news breezy... back to modern day life for you!
Yeah, I love electricity.
Sounds like a smart move. How's the adventure been so far?
I hear you there! Haha. That's great you're back and running. Not for training or anything but just life in general.
It's been solid, logged about 2,800mi to this point. Had some fun, no doubt. Didn't get to do everything I wanted to but pretty damn close!
Glad things are returning to "normal". You are probably the only person who would continue a log in the middle of that chaos.
Thanks bolt. It actually made things a little easier for me. It was one of the few "normal" things I was able to (expect I had to go out to my car most of the time haha).
I don't remember if you've ever tried IF. How'd that go if you have?
Ended with my profile pic.
Was actually all hardcore against it, but I force myself to try things in the sake of improvement and it went great. I routinely skip breakfast when I have very early morning clients but don't really limit myself to a set feeding window. Actually am doing very similar to the Lean Gains approach (16/8) right now in attempt to shed a little fat and will probably go all out with it again before summer for my next cut. It just works with my schedule.![]()
My run with IF sucked but there wasn't fasted training bc of my schedule. People have had awesome results with the FTP protocol (same principles) but looking like that make have to work when I finally settle in with a 1-9 work schedule.
Very interested breezy, Bolt you give me hope bc I'm in the exact same camp as you brother!
I'll just say I am only using Protocol, V-1 and Alphamine right now and its been a great 2 weeks so far.![]()
I'll be taking the following pre workout (I don't normally have a problem with any of these on an empty stomach):
1 cap AP
Hey Breezy, quick question (hopefully not a stupid one).. what does the AP do for you preworkout on and empty stomach. I have two bottles that I am about to crack open, but was under the impression AP is best used 30 minutes prior to meals?
Thanks Breezy, will check it out... kill it man!Good question wasme. I'll still use it before meals daily, but it has other benefits as well. Here's some good info: Invalid Link RemovedI'm off to the gym.
I love FTP with AP... I do it year round almost except for my current log, I wanted to use up my ssv1 I had lying around. AP is my favorite hands down. Using for fasted training it really helps burn fat for fuel when in a depleted glycogen state / deplete any excess glycogen much faster during the workout allowing you to enter a lypolitic state much quicker... I usually will lift , then similar to how breezy is doing the agmatine and forsklin intra workout, I'll do that with AP- about 15-20 minutes prior to my end of workout cardio- so roughy 40 minutes prior to end of workout- then post workout I take my recoverpro andan hour later have a huge post workout meal with AP prior to that as well!
Thanks... I have a bunch of SSV1 and a couple of bottles of AP... so going to give this ago tomorrow morning...
