Rivet’s: USPLabs Beta: insulin mimicking/A.I/Serm like/Creatine Log

Stats:

Height: 6.0

Weight: 188lbs

Creatine use: NON RESPONDER to Mono, DI, CEE

Waist: 34 inches

Daily Caloric intake: according to Fitday = 3000cals. Use whole foods at 6 meals at day, regard shakes more as a treat and not very often during a week (or longer). When I keep my cals around this level I can gain nice and slow without putting on fat and even losing some.

Training Style: TUT

Split: Mon: Chest/Bi
Tues: Legs/Lower Back
Wed: OFF
Thur: Back/Tris
Friday: Shoulders/Traps

Will note any differences noticed from the product. Sadly I don’t expect it to be able work on me like most supplements that seem to work great for everyone here. Ive tried almost every creatine out there and have gotten nothing bad or good from them. If this does pan out a portion of my paycheck will be going straight to USPlabs. 


I will start this Log as of Thursday the 27th using 2 caps 15mins before breakfast and
2 more caps 15mins before my post workout meal.
 
Ok here is where I get embarrassed and post my workout. Don’t mind the light weights I use as Im not a big guy :) . I can then compare numbers during week #2 of the trial log to see if it helps out any.

Comments:
It’s only the first day so I don’t expect it to work yet anyways. And Im not feeling that "anabolic feel"15-20 mins after breakfast that USPLabs has mentioned. Perhaps I need to bump the dose up since I usually have to do that with anything that does work on me.
 
Rivet, nothing to be embarassed about bro. If you are doing those weight with elongated ecc and con motions, and slow an controlled that is more than fine. For DB curls I only do like 35-40 and could care less because it burns and I am doing 5-6 sec reps.

Yea Im using TUT. I use 40's for DB curls as well using 6sec tut. Glad Im not alone...thanks :)

It’s Saturday and it’s and OFF day for me. I’m still not noticing anything from the product yet. Don’t let that discourage anyone form trying it because I’m known not to respond to many “oral” supplements. And even the products I DO respond to I usually do need a higher dose. Something like Phenibut where most people say they get all sick from 4grams and I need 5grams on my second dose “ever” taken an entire week from my 1st dose (1.5 grams felt nothing) to receive what most claim from 1 gram. But if USPlabs has found something that can work on me Im pretty sure it can work on anyone! :)

Its Sunday and another OFF day for me. Nothing to report about the product. Tomorow is what I call "Beach Muscles" day Chest/BI.

Good log and keeping it tagged for the results...And to echo the others. Nothing to be ashamed about! Most noted weight numbers are like a lot of women's breasts in california. Fake and inflated.

I wanted to do 75's but I just could not mount them (this is with using the kicking them up and leaning back) Ever since I started hitting my shoulders a little more it takes forever for my strength to return to them (its slowly getting better) . I usually have no trouble mounting 75's or 80's .My chest and triceps still had plenty left so I went on the Hammer Strength Incline press and did 9x240 (total).

This is a little dangerous, but when I am putting up higher weights in DB Press, I grip them hammer style, kick them upto my shoulder still gripping them hammer and then as I am leaning back I use my momentum to get them up. By gripping hammer you don't endanger your cuff as much, and as long as you are stable it is an easier way to get them up.

I am getting the exact same feeling, not unlike mild heartburn. Tastes like cayene powder almost.

I’m used to eating spicy foods so I wasn’t sure it was causing it until I didn’t eat anything spicy one day and still felt it. I don’t find it as intense as cayenne more like curry for me. But like I said I eat allot of spicy foods so I find it actually kind of pleasant :)

I take 2 in the morning 15 minutes before breakfast and 2 15 mins before postworkout meal (6hours later on non workout day)


I will now start to take an additional 3 caps 15 mins before pre-workout meal.

Comments: 1st set of weighted dips sucked because I didn’t warm up properly and the handle on the right side was getting loose. Last set was better then usual because I so upset with the 1st set. I don’t know about the product, I’m not experiencing any pumps after taking it even with the new extra 3 caps 15 before pre workout meal. It did upset my stomach a little bit taking it before working out for the 1st 30 minutes in the gym. My sets were up from last week but I usually do fluctuate up and down in my weights and reps (like 3 steps up one week then 2 back the next and my real gain is that one step up). I always do push myself to beat what I did the week before. Take what you will from my numbers.

Comments: I didn’t do the Hammer Strength Shoulder press this week because I had nothing left and I only did that last week for fun. No extra pumps or anything yet. The later exercises went down because I had gone up nicely in the first two. Who knows if the product is working? I know I am not reacting to the CEE but perhaps I have a chance with the A.I. part of the produce since I actually do respond to a few such as ATD but I’m not experiencing any bacne which I usually get on an A.I. or libido drop. I usually have a crazy high libido and it hasn’t fluctuated up or down because I think either direction would be bad haha

Comments: After this I came home took my beta caps waited 15 mins then ate. Then I spend 2 hours straight cycling with my gf and good friend (not much of a workout since I can’t stay in the lead because when I turn around I can’t see them anymore so I let them make the pace). Incline DB weights are up due to the fact that I could easily kick up the DB’s this time unlike last time where I my shoulders kept giving out halfway up (this is more what I am used to, the whole trouble with getting the DB’s up for inclines is a new phenomenon). I’m still experiencing my normal workout progression.
 
Tomorow is my last official Workout day of the log (wednesday will be the last day but thats an off day). I talked to D@USP and im going to be doubling my dose tuesday and wednesday.

Decided to do my usual Tuesday/leg day on Wednesday instead to give the Beta Product at double dose a fighting chance. :bruce1:
 
What do you mean by 4x6x4? I'm asking USP if i can up the dose to see the effects, i've just been taking 4 a day, 2 at a time, one serving with breakfast and one immediately post-workout, and 6 hours apart on off days as suggested.

I was taking it as suggested, 2 15 mins before breakfast 2 15 mins after post workout nutrition. Then last week USP told me to take 3 15 before pre-workout nutrition. I talked to D@USP last night and I’m going to be using it at the exact same times but at the double the amount of caps, 4 caps morning, then 6 caps pre-workout and 4 caps post workout. This is to see if doubling up makes the product do anything for me.
 
It’s Tuesday and I’m taking today off from the Gym instead of Wednesday. I’m giving the product one last day at a high dose to give it a chance to kick in. Still nothing as of yet. On a positive note, the “slight" heartburn I usually get from taking this isn’t increased at all with the extra caps.

Final comment: Leg workout sucked today. I knew it as soon as I did my 1st set and it felt much heavier then it should have felt. It may have something to do with the fact that I dropped a 75lb DB on my right quad from about 3 feet up on Monday (I hate bouncy rubber coated weights!). Second day at double dose and still nothing. It’s been 14 days so I guess I can add this to the list of supps I don’t respond to. It’s a shame since I actually had some hope since this product seems to be a totally new concept. Perhaps it’s a good thing since on the second day at double dose it gave me pretty bad stomach cramps soon after taking it.

If you look at my 1st entry into this log and even under my avatar pic you will see that I mention that I’m a non responder. When I say this I mean non-responder to pretty much everything (I have tried allot of supps) . I think USPlabs likes having an extreme non responder as a tester because if something does work on me it would probably work for most. I didn’t expect it to work on me in the 1st place, were just seeing what's going to make it past my freak non-responding abilities :)

Final Attempt

Ok in one final attempt I upped my dose for a final time to:

10caps 15 mins before preworkout meal (also breakfast) 10 15mins before post workout and 10 caps about 6 hours after working out for a total of 30caps in a day. Sadly still nothing. On a good note unrelated to this supp I have raised my alternating DB curl from:

40x6
40x6
45x5

to

40x10
40x12
45x7-8

I guess its about time I started working out my arms. I did the opposite what most people do and slacked off on arms :frustrate
