I just got the strawberry and it's way too sweet for my liking unless I add at quite a bit of extra liquid. I do like that I don't get gas of bloat though. Any other flavor that isn't as cloyingly sweet?

This ^ is the BOMB.

Otherwise, james, how many scoops you doing and in water or milk? All the flavors do seem sweeter to me if mixed in water, oddly enough, but don't get that mixed in milk or yogurt...

I mixed it in unsweetened almond milk and skim milk. 8oz per scoop was too sweet. Trying the yogurt after I finish food shopping this morning

For shakes I usually go with about 10 oz. almond milk per scoop, but I like it extra sweet. Yogurt definitely does tame it a bit so I think you'll like it that way. Let us know what you think!

i cannot comment on protein shakes, i honest do not drink them, nor do i enjoy them. Far better to use protein in yogurt or baking IMO

Thanks to Oxy and then Select, I'll never use a straight whey again...either multi blend or casein/whey mix...I'd been missing out all these years...

Just received my two tubs of chocolate and banana .. Not crazy about straight banana in water, i do love the chocolate tho. Mixing a half scoop of each is where it's at! Mixed w milk even better , will try mixing w some vanilla Greek yogurt later.

Wait till you use it in yogurt = Winning.

Anyone know how long the NP price will last? I might have to buy a few tubs before it ends.

About to hit up another Strawberry for now. First time in a while I've got the same powder back to back. Price & flavor is too good to pass up.

Just got the OxyElite Banana at Nutra, deal too good to pass up. Hooray for my first blend

Thanks for your support, man! Look forward to hearing what you think.

Sales typically have a specific amount of product designated to be sold at the sale price; when they are gone, the sale ends. It looks like Strawberry Cheesecake, Vanilla Ice Cream, and Banana are the only flavors still available at the reduced price. Don't sleep on the deal!

Smart man! I'm mixing up some Strawberry Cheesecake right now. :yup:

If you like chilled treats dip them and freeze overnight.

Or an a small tray lay down slices of strawberry (or banana, etc) and cover in sludge, freeze overnight and wake up to strawberry ice cream bars ;)

Wonder how the banana would be just frozen in pops?? May try that this week

Made Bob's Banana bread... Omg. I used a Buckwheat complete pancake mix instead of the normal white one. Also the Walmart by me didn't have it which sucks. First time ever baking and it was phenomenal. I'm gonna make some for my girlfriend with chocolate chips in it too. Bob, was wondering you've ever used Whey instead? Was thinking of trying Cellucor Cinna Swirl Banana Bread with the same ingredients just flipping powders and adding a tad bit of ground cinnamon.
Yum! Looks like it turned out well!

It was orgasmic lol. Fits my post workout macros perfectly. Mine came out to 565 Cals 4g Fat 34g Pro and 97g C. Put some Walden farms pancake syrup and and chocolate syrup on some of it. Really rekindled my love for a long lost treat

I'll bet sugar free Mrs. Butterworth's would be even better...

Whey = Better for loafes/rising agents like muffins, pancakes etc
Select is good at rising too
OEP is better for cheesecakes, bread and rice puddings because it is much thicker and better for binding agents

but the flavor is UNREAL in OEP, so it just rules in everything.

....oh my God. This recipe might be the one thing that gets me doing this kind of stuff.

Haha I've stuck with protein shakes for awhile because of my general lack of skill when it comes to cooking/baking/food prep, but cookies are my weakness.....

Follow Directions = Profit
Protein Shakes you will never do again once you start mixing in yogurt or baking with.
mark those words.

have not had a shake in almost 16-18 months.
only had 1 because i was at the arnold almost 2 years ago and just needed something lol.

For shakes I usually go with about 10 oz. almond milk per scoop, but I like it extra sweet. Yogurt definitely does tame it a bit so I think you'll like it that way. Let us know what you think!

So I finally tried both and it was definitely better. Still too artificial. It may just be the strawberry, I'll try another flavor before I write it off. I don't have any gas or bloat issues, which I'm happy about, just not liking this flavor.

Thinking of going with a basic flavor. Or maybe cookies & cream because I like that flavor in pretty much everything.

Yeah, I have no skill when it comes to baking. I would love to try these and raise my boys on them.
