Awesome Zap filled workout tonight. I continued my progression on 5x5 squats. Tonight I did 415 (last week was 405) for 4 sets of 5 and then banged out 7 on the last set again. We then did laying leg curls, leg press superset hack squats, walking barbell lunges superset leg extensions, inner thigh machine, straight leg raises, and stretching! Holy cr@p that was a good workout. I was spent at the end!
Wednesday February 11, 2009 - Chest and back
I have been putting together a real nice string of workouts lately. It was so hot in the gym today. I was drenched by the time I was done and certainly left it all in the gym. Flat dumbbell press (this was the first time I did this since I hurt my shoulder doing these in early August...first time back and I matched a PR! The 150s didnt feel that heavy!), high hammer row, incline smith press with holds at the bottom, barbell row superset barbell shrugs (I was rocked after this), wide free motion pulldowns with long squeeze, flat fly machine, knee-in abs, stretching. Felt tight and dense today.
