Urgent! Help with client..

Hi guys,

I have a 44 year old woman as one of my clients. She used to compete so she has always been in great shape. In the summer she asked about using HGH and I advised against it until we saw how her progress was going. Anyhow, she ended up telling me she was busy with life and would have to take some time off training.

Today, she came to see me to start back up again and she was almost in tears. She went behind my back and decided to take 2iu of GH for 5 days ON and 2 days OFF. She has also been taking 1/2 of a T3 pill every day. She started all of this on Sept-11-2011 and she has noticed:

1. Looks very thick
2. Midsection is extended (like an extreme bloat)
3. Hips/Buttocks have increased in size dramatically
4. Has gained 15lbs

To be honest, she looks terrible, and she knows it. She said she has been following my lean diet plan that I gave her (very lean so as to stay lean and tight). She has also been following my training routine that I made for her (5 days in the gym - 4 weight and cardio days and 1 core/cardio day)

Her questions are:
1. Is this normal?
2. I was told that by the 3 month point, things start to tighten up and fat comes off. Is this true?

My questions:
1. I have no experience with HGH, so does she stop it? Decrease dose? Continue longer? Is there something she can take to counter-act everything?

2iu's isnt a lot. esp 5on,2off. IDK how and why she gained weight.....odd. The GH/IGF1 section would be a better spot for this thread. Also ntbm has a research chem/peptide section where you could get answers

The bloat should go away with time if she drops the dosage by 25% for a few weeks. The size gain or thickness could also be bloat. Drop 25% for 2 weeks until the sides go away and tell her to use more natural diauretics daily. Her salt intake should be limited also. If she continues at this dose that she is currently running, her face could start to swell and she may experience joint pain. GH just has too much risk unless you do it under a close doctor's supervision. Good luck!

But 2iu is such a small dose I don't understand how she could suffer this? My belief is t3 is the culprit I have heated of such changes in ppl with screwed up t levels. Hmmm keep us posted this is extremely interesting. Probe her my feelings tell me she might have taken some orals steroids as well that would explain this sides. Ppl don't put on 15lbs on 2iu GH especially on t3....

tell her to go talk to a doctor at a real hormone replacement clinic. this is outside of your practice and ability.

now, if you want to train her, well, it may be a risk, but just do w/e you do.

You guys are awesome! Thanks so much!

When it comes to Anabolics I'm pretty well versed, but havent even thought of GH even for myself!
Geesh!

I'm going to have her decrease the dose by 25% for 2 weeks and watch salt. If the problem persists, I'll have her go to a doctor an get a hormone panel taken....

Thanks again all of you, and I'll post back with the solution once we reach one.
