Makes you realize how much is considered ultra processed and why we see so many issues even outside of weight gain, but with hormones and gut inflammation.
 
So if I season my organic, antibiotic-free chicken breast with some salt and spices and then bake it it’s actually a “processed food?”
 
And my whey protein, which has been shown in a myriad of studies to have numerous benefits, is ultra processed?

Sometimes labels/classifications don’t really tell us much.

No. It’s tertiary food processing that’s commonly referred to as simply processed foods that is the problem.
