unbearable pain from injecting

does anyone experiance so much pain from injecting that u wake up and feel sick? my friends doing the same kind of enanthate and said it hurt a little for him at the start. mine is so bad theres no way i can work out. its been 2 days now, no redness just swelling. do some steroids u just have to waste and throw all the money out the window?
 
What gauge needles you using?

each glute took one shot to get use to the pain... so it was a week and a half of hell. now im all good, it was worth it
