The split is organized as follows:

DENNIS THE DANISH DACHSHUND
Day 1: Chest/abs

Day 2: Back

Day 3: Off

Day 4: Shoulders/abs

Day 5: Legs

Day 6: Arms/abs

Day 7: Off

On every lift the sets are 3-4. On power movements (Squat, Deadlift, Presses), I keep the reps low and usually do 4x6,*


3x8, or 10,8,6. Every other lift vary the sets from 12,10,8 to 3x12 to 3x8. I like to total around 15-18 total sets per*


body part.


It is key to switch up the rep scheme to keep your body guessing and to avoid plateaus and overtraining.

Welcome to all of you guys that know me and welcome to all of you guys that do not know me. I'm 33 years old father of a few children been married for quite some time. I'm at a point in my life where I would like to get into the best shape I can and try and maintain that for the next 40 years. Life goes by fast we all know this I've been up and down in and out of this for a long time I've always been on the bulky side I'm trying to get closer to physique type of luck this time. I'm going for more stamina more endurance over huge looking muscles and bulging traps. Longevity is what I'm after being able to hike of Three Mile Mountain Trail without even running out of breath is my goal. If I tried that now I would probably die halfway up. You know I like to have a good time but I like to be serious as well so we will laugh a lot by will be asking a lot of questions. So if you guys have any questions feel free to fire them at me here. I'll be on and off checking this every 4 hours 5 hours throughout the day. Some of you have my phone number if you want you can text me.

light to moderate weights with high reps and lots of cardio....lots of fruits and vegies!!!

body weight exercises are great for getting into shape-pullups, sit ups, push ups and so forth.

if you want a great cardio workout, jumping rope is killer--you work up to 45 minutes straight and you will be in great shape!!!

So far diet is mostly fish and eggs . Some low fat milk as well . Cut back on beef until i drop some weight.
