Just curious, how many new things in the works?

omg! dude what was i thinking! ur right! wait, wasn't bisbing suppose to fight lindland in the next ufc but he got injured ?

No, Lindland and the UFC have a nice little spat going on right now. Lindland catches a lot of crap of some fans for being boring, but his last 6 fights have been anything but boring. His fight with Rampage, which he won, was a great fight.

never been that big of a fan of rampage, really dont think he is as good as everyone says. he doesnt do his slams anymore, he did show that he can take a punch! That hendo fight just showed that if hendo had been in better shape he would of smashed on rampage.

Rampage is one of the best LHWs in the world. I say one of the until he can beat either Wand or Shogun. You just cannot be beaten down that badly by someone if your weight class and be a clear #1. His slams may be his trademark, but they are not the smartest thing to do unless you don't have any other options because they are VERY tiring.

Rampage is a different fighter than when he fough Wandy and Shogun. He is historically lazy and never trained very hard, but leading up to his fight with Chuck, Juanito has had him in the right mindset. He seems to realize that natural talent is not enough, and that work ethic leads to greatness. He was definately at a low point when he fought Lindland and I do feel page won, although it could have gone either way.

I do agree that he does kind of need to fight SHogun or Wandy, but he is widely regarded as the #1 205er out there.

Lindland, by the way, despite losing his past couple is a damn good cantidate for p4p. There is no shame in losing to fedor and taking Rampage to a questionable decision.

I rank him as #1 based on recent history, but I cannot say that he is the best LHW out there. When he first fought Chuck, he wasn't training with Juanito and he still dominated. Fighters evolve, but he has had trouble everytime he faced Chute Boxe. Wand, Shogun, and Ninja gave him huge problems and he should have lost the decision to Ninja.

he maybe 1 of the worlds best, but in my opinion he doesn't do all that much for me. just personal opinion.

Heck, why not? send me your addy and I'll give a slightly smaller package for 2nd place.

Well, Mullet's been on AM for quite some time now, and he's always been respectful and very helpful. Im sure he'd do the same for me if the roles were reversed.

Plus, he's carrying the joedirt torch all by himself. LONGLIVE THE MULLET!!!!

That's a good point. I really like a lot of the lighter guys in terms of striking, sub. skills, and just overall techniques, but right now, I feel those guys are dominating moreso than anyone else. Just going on potential and who I think WILL be the most dominant, Id put JZ up there for sure and maybe a few others. I actually prefer watching the lighter guys fights, but again, I think my top 3 are on top of the heap right now.

Hey Rodja,

I was kind of looking forward to seeing your list. You and Beowulf. Why you holding out on us?

1. Fedor Emelianenko
2. GSP
3. Anderson Silva
4. Hendo
5. Minotauro Nogueira
6. Rampage
7. JZ
8. Couture
9. BJ Penn
10. Shogun

I have Randy much lower than everyone because he has not beaten an elite fighter since the Chuck. I am by no means taking anything away from him, but to put him ahead of Nogueira is ridiculous to me. I still have GSP at #2 because he got caught against Serra, but dominated Koscheck.

We have pretty similar lists. I've got GSP at 2 and randy at 8. I voted before ufc77, and after that I'd put Silva 1 or 2 spots higher than I did. We didn't see eye to eye on Kid (understandably). I like that you've got Shogun on there despite the loss, but I went with Shaolin.

I'm interested in how well Nog is going to do in the UFC. I think elbows are going to screw with his game, just because people don't have to post up from within his guard to throw them, making his traditional "take a binch of punishment and then sub them" strategy a little harder to execute. Also, his eyes are apparently going and Fedor eluded to the fact that he is starting to slow down from painkillers. Mind you he looked prety good against Barnett.

Kid is right outside of the top 10 P4P because he has been relatively inactive while preparing for the Olympics.

Fedor
A.Silva
Rampage
GSP
Penn
Big Nog
Hendo
Couture
Hughes
Wandy Silva (ya I know he's on a bad streak but I still think he's top 10)

edit : Damnit - I'm too late and I would have won.
