Applied Nutriceuticals Rep.
Ok, basically, I've been kinda slacking on my duties as a rep due to several issues, but now Im back and ready to really contribute again.

CONTEST
Its very simple. You list your top 10 pound for pound MMA fighters right now. Obviously, weight should not be factored in. List in order from 1-10 and we'll have 2 winners. Dont bother going back and searchin my past top 10 picks as they have changed drastically recently.

ONLY ONE POST PER PERSON. IF SOMEONE PICKS THE EXACT TOP TEN YOU WANTED, JUST CHANGE ONE PICK. DUPLICATE SUBMISSIONS WILL BE THROWN OUT.

1st Winner -the person who has the most of my top ten in their top 10.
2nd Winner -the person who has the most IDENTICAL picks(Ex: I pick Butterbean #1 and you pick him #1. Ex2: I pick Rodja #4 and you pick him #4)

PRIZES YOU WILL WIN
-Samples of one non-released product.
-A SH*T TON OF OTHER STUFF. (I have my own GNC, Im a board rep for AN, and I work for one internet retailer, and my friend is the head warehouse manager for **.com, so needless to say, you'll get hooked up.

Start the pickin....

How do you have Huerta above GSP?

honestly, i love both these guys. i think gsp is the better fighter, but he has not shown me that he can handle being at the top. im not saying huerta has either, but if huerta was going up for the title in his devision i think he wins it. i just like huerta more right now. im high on the kid. plus u know everyone and there mom are gong to put gsp at the top of every list!

Oooooo.... Melendez, that's a good pick. I should have spent more time thinking about this rather than trying my done a fast possible.

I mean.... Melendez is... terrible. I recommend nobody picks him.:ntome:

How can Huerta or KID be on ANY p4p list w/o fighting any ranked fighters to test them?

I can only speak for myself, like I said before, this is to see if you can match up to Ugab's top ten. I put a few fighters on my list that aren't in my top ten as I think I remember him saying something about them.

How can Huerta or KID be on ANY p4p list w/o fighting any ranked fighters to test them?

Because Kid fought up in weight class and completely obliterated his opponents. He's got skills and physical gifts like nobody else, and although he hasn't fought the cream of the crop at 155, he's fought some good opponents and made them look stupid. Pretty good for a 143lbser who could drop to 135 if he wanted.

You do have a point, but I think more worrysome for him being on my list is that he's stepped away from MMA for a bit to train for the Olympic wrestling team.

if u will look at who he has fought, there are no really bad fighters. he has beat a few pretty good guys. plus watch him fight the guy is great, also he fights smart. how is it that u place anderson silva so high on ur list? and who is jz?

Kid has some great wrestling and crazy power for his weight. Granted, the real credible win he has is an iffy call against Genki Sudo, but he is one of the most exciting fighters in all of MMA.

Huerta has fought some pretty bad fighters. The guys he's faced have had decent records, but if you look who they fought to get them they were pretty bad. Alberto crane is great example. And also, he hasn't been what I would call dominant. Doug Evans won their first round and Crane was always in the game. Nobody is more spoon fed opponents than Huerta. Wiman and Kotani are his best wins, and those were a while ago.

He did beat Curran and Uno, both of whom were ranked at the time (Uno might not have been, but he would have been shortly before that). And against Sudo, while it could have gone the other way, Genki is a ranked fighter from a higher weight class. Despite his collection of cans, that's good enough for me.

JZ is probably the best LW in the world ATM. He has won the K-1 HEROs GP 2 straight years in a row and his only loss was to Joachim Hansen early in his career by decision.

I made up my list primarily by recent accomplishments (with the exception of Fedor who cleaned out his division). Anderson has basically done the same lately (minus Lindland and Hendo who refuses to drop to 185). He was at 175 as lately as last year at the ROTR tourney so that tells me he can be at 170 if he reeeeeally pushed.

Gesias "JZ" Calvancanti recently won the K1 lightweight tourney (2 years in a row) defeating Vitor "Shaolin" Ribeiro who's another contender for p4p.

Yup, but hopefully mine is closer to winning :)
I wanted to put Chuck on there but w/ the 2 losses lately I couldn't. Same goes for Lindland.

2. Randy Couture
3. Anderson Silva
5. Rampage Jackson
6. Uhjahi Faber
7. Sokodu
