sucks i had to work last night and missed the WEC fights but ive got recorded so ill try to watch tomorow night

1)I expected Gray to walk through Nate. How did Nate look so terrible against Melvin and improved last night?!?!

2)Good for Amir but he's got a little way to go..

As predicted, Maynard won the decision, doesn't stand a chance against Penn, happy for Amir, WEC much more entertaining than last night, tired of the LONG commercial breaks on Spike except for the last fight...versus had short commercial breaks...almost didn't watch the fights last night because of the lackluster card, turned out ok...is efrain's arm broken?

Serious what was with all the commercials. The Efrain fight was pretty good actually. Its nice to see people not tapping out till its too late after watching Varner on Sunday tap immediately. As shady as he is I'm hoping he blew it because of so much time off. Hate to admit it but I was hoping he'd win.
Hopefully Efrain gets a speedy recovery.

edit: Penn will take the W but I won't be surprised if Frankie looks a tad bit better against him than Diego. Diego got the title shot prematurely IMO.

Nate Diaz would be so much better if he would just freakin learn to throw head kicks. If he had anf LHK ability at all Maynard woulda went to sleep. Maynard was fighting with his hands down most of the fight and with Diaz's height/reach advantage it should be pretty damn easy for him to kick him in the head. Went just about the way I thought it would though.
