Knee sleeves you don’t care about, or even very lightly wrapped athletic tape or old knee wraps can keep you shielded. Or pants.

Yeah I’ve been looking for my old titan stingers... but can’t find em. Tried the athletic tape and it didn’t hold up.

Am I pushing my hips through to early? Or too much of an upright torso?
 
If you don’t have an old pair of wrist or knee wraps you really could try some loose old jeans. Tight will be like briefs and you might blow them out.

You probably are too upright; I was when I was rebuilding my deadlift BUT it’s necessary for now to restore your back strength and avoid inflammation.

I for one love peeps, particularly when they're stale. Id never want to eat more than like 3-4, but It's all about what gives you your fix!

Lol my daughter was shoving them in my mouth... i wasnt about to turn down junk food. Although, i tried a few different "flavors" and they all tasted the same, to me anyhow.
I for one love peeps, particularly when they're stale. Id never want to eat more than like 3-4, but It's all about what gives you your fix!

My db bench is moving. I remember at one point in my training for my last meet(2yr ago ) I pressed 100s for some reps. So, that's a goal even though that isn't a primary focus right now, it's a short term goal lol

Man, sumo may be my choice of pulling in the near future. Everything was firing correctly and felt light I was pleasantly surprised but it could've been the massive cheat I had too though lol idk I need to make my mind up before my next meso starts.

Definetely scraping over and over is a flaw in the lift somewhere.

Tyga just remember all great sumo pullers still pull conventional to keep the back strength high, at least in the off season. Whether from floor or blocks/rack, it’s always there til maybe 8 weeks out tops.

Oh yeah. I'll keep it in as a secondary if I make the switch.
The Boss switched to conv.....shame he tore his bicep recently.
He can't catch a break. Tore his quad now his bicep. His conventional was stronger than his sumo

This week will round out this meso. Then I'll roll into another after a brief deload (if I take one, I haven't really been hammering my RPE so fatigue is actually really low for my fifth week). My last six week mesocycle I attempted, drove me Into the ground. I was also MORE honest in this block with RPE.

Ayo, another single PR of 350 at an @8. This block has been VERY productive but I realized I need to video more of my @8 sets and back down sets to see where my weak range is and how to better address it. Next block I'll be adding bb hip thrust back in to get some more PC/Glute work in and if time permits more direct hamstring work

So guys was doing marathon squats in the rack I typically used so my preactivation movements went on for a half hour? The other rack some guy was benching in ....

I may flip my intensity day to Friday and have my volume day on Monday. Just a thought.

I watched him in person pull over 400 conventional in a drug-tested meet in the 148 class
Yeah the cheesecake factory was what I was looking forward too lol only took us one wrong turn and another added 15min to get there tho lol

My best ever pull was at that meet. Pulled 491 @148

I'm gradually getting back there. Just persistence and keeping the lumbar healthy.

Damn Idk why I was thinking closer to 400 than 5! 491 is just about 5 plates.
They opted to let me pull a fourth my hands looked like I ran a cheese grater over them, so I passed lol my second attempt tore a callous and a super glued it down but that third attempt had my hands shredded

If my memory serves me right.. (since it's been nearly three years now) it was -

S- 352
B- 264
D- 491

If I don't go to Florida in July then I'll do that meet in Leadington, Mo. Just want a 1000 total lol
