Shoulders feel great!!
Been sitting in a car driving all day. Headed to Knoxville for that job interview. Will meet the owner tonight for dinner and then interview in the morning.

Good luck Brian!

Good luck!

Good luck Brian.

Driving back right now. The job is mine. I put in my 2 week notice to my current employer Monday. I'll give more details tonight when I get home. Thanks for all the support!! You guys are great!!!

Awesome news!!! Congratulations!!!! Drive safe!!

Awesome!

Ok, made it home. So, the details:
I've worked for my present employer for 18 years. Construction and environmental manager all 18 years. They relocated me to Myrtle Beach back in 1998 and was suppose to relocate me back to Knoxville Tn whenever the project came to an end. But the project kept getting extended and we kept winning the contract. Well, I will have the environmental contamination pretty much cleaned up in the next few months. Problem is they only were willing to give me a lump sum of $5k to relocate back. So no dice on that. And they were planning to put me traveling all the time being gone from anywhere from 4 weeks to 6 months at a time with no trips home starting next month.
A few months ago a friend of mine kept telling me the company he works for wanted to talk to me. They do hotel/restaurant remodeling and do all kinds of other facility type work. Well, I broke down last month and talked to them after I had sent them my resume. We set up the 2nd interview for yesterday. Great guys and they made me a great deal. The good thing is I'll work from my house. Will be some travel involved obviously but mostly just overnight or be gone for 2-3 days. I officially will accept the job Monday morning and give my formal resignation to my current employer Monday also. Everything just seemed to add up for me to take this opportunity. Even to the point of I had mandatory training last month on Exit for Managers. That training is for how managers are suppose to handle employees either voluntarily leaving or being fired. Coincidence???? Not sure but I took it as a sign. Plus I wasn't even looking for a job yet and all this just transpires at the right time. I'm pretty stoked!

Oh, and after the interview they asked me a bunch of workout and diet questions, which was odd but pretty cool at the same time!

Awesome stuff, man. I'm happy for you. That's pretty cool too that they noticed you were jacked up and wanted advice. LOL

Congrats! Things really do happen for a reason!!

Sounds like a pretty big blessing panning out for you!! That's wonderful!! Definitely a bonus that they wanted advice from you!! :) ...my massage therapist asked me if I did crossfit! Then asked about nutrition! Makes you feel great to be able to help someone out!!

I agree that there is "writing on the wall" going on with the Exit for Managers class. Sounds like a great opportunity for you! Congratulations!

Thanks everyone!

Always motivational reading your chest and/shoulder pressing.

Pull pork about a pound
Sweet potato casserole
Chicken bog
Potato salad
Baked beans
A couple biscuits
All homemade by a little local establishment here
It's from an all you can eat BBQ place here called Big D's. Great food!

Nice and heavy "short" chest session. Please order that pork plate tomorrow and send it up to me! Thanks in advance.

If I could I would guys. Price is only $12.98 including drink. Best non seafood buffet I've ever been to. If I could've eaten it I could've gone back for a 2nd plate. I try not to make too much of a pig out of myself when I go there...lol
Oh, not pictured was a bowl of home made banana pudding I went back for after eating the plate load. Total estimated Cals yesterday was only around 4k.

I think this week has turned into just a "moderate" week. Strength seems to be down a little. Probably need to start doing my cardio again to keep me from getting tight.

Anyway, today was SHOULDERS

HS OHP
100 x 15
200 x 15
200 x 10 wide grip
200 x 10 wide grip
200 x 10 wide grip
Wide grip is about double shoulder width(outer edge)

DB side laterals
20 x 10 x 4 sets

DB front laterals
20 x 10 x 4 sets

Preacher curls(just to get a pump)
45 x 15
70 x 10 x 4 sets

Upright rows - narrow grip
70 x 10
80 x 10 x 3 sets

Rear Delt machine
105 x 10
120 x 10
135 x 10
150 x 10

Can definitely feel those wide grip OHP's. Doubt I can do 280 on those like I do on regular grip. They are something I will try an incorporate more into my workouts. Workout lasted about 45 minutes.
