Turff49 Quest for Success

The wife adjusted the scale zero in her favor? Jk
 
Scale being off is what I thought at first, then I weighed myself at the gym and it was spit on.
And I weigh and measure all my food(except subway the other day). And I don't even count the olive oil used when cooking the chicken as I have no way knowing how much is absorbed into the chicken. I have been using Myotropin during pct but that shouldn't cause weight loss. Wife says my body is always very warm even when I'm in deep sleep.

So, do I try to consume more? See where it stops at? Get thyroid checked? Suggestions?
 
metabolism could be increased - you been eating more, looks pretty damn clean too, and training has been frequent and intense
could be a metabolism increase....that's just quite a bit of weight-loss, and it's not like you were using wet compounds during cycle that would be conducive to "fast water loss" afterwards..

OR - you may just want to get tested for aids :dunno:

try increasing the cals again, another couple hundred daily
 
If you are concerned and don't want the weight loss, increase fat intake.
Carbs work too of course but increasing them can also increase metabolism further
 
Your Bb row are more powerful than mine for sure. I have to use straps on Meadows'.

Interesting about the weight loss. I am not keeping track but how often you doing those two a days. That could account for a major increase in expenditure, because you don't exactly take it easy lol.

I do feel like my metabolism is high. I seem to have more energy than ever before. Geez, I gotta go shopping for more food. Maybe I'll add in more lean beef, I've not eaten much beef over the past 6 months. And yeah, pretty self conscious about eating clean. Guys at work hate it. They go out and get pizza, burgers, fried foods, etc and then say they need to go to the gym one of these days.

keep doing what you're doing, just some slight tweaks & modifications to get results we wish..

The 2 a days don't happen very often, once or twice a week. I cut my cardio way down, twice a week on my rest days.

14oz boneless chicken breast, 1/2 cup(whole cup cooked) rice, cup of veggies.
This is basically what I have for lunch or dinner 3-5 times a week.
 
I thought that rice was some weird looking sushi or something.. :p

I added a couple tablespoons of peanut butter along with a protein shake as an after lunch snack!

I'm definitely leaning towards an increased metabolism too.

Or aids.

I found it hard to get past 3600 cals yesterday. It's hard when you have to force yourself to eat...
But I'll have that taken care of today, altering my breakfast and mid morning snack.

A few progress pics. I must be a little bloaty as my abs aren't to visible. Of course I've already consumed about 1800 cals and it isn't lunch time yet. I've never tried posing and it's obvious. That I'll need to practice on.

Yeah, the facial look... I'm not much of a smiler unless I'm joking around. Wife tells me I'm too serious...lol

It's been hard for me recently too, and right now I'm only at 2600 on lifting days trying to lean out a little.

What are your macros looking like?

Looking solid Turff. Your body looks symmetrically fluid; like none of your muscle groups are lacking from another.

I've got to read up on how to do a pose or 2. When I'm not looking in the mirror it's hard to know if I've even flexed right. Just can't figure out how to flex my lats. I know they're there. lol

I have zero intentions if ever competing, but I've been trying to get the posing down too. I dunno why; and, I can't pose. Lol

I still stick to the 40/40/20. Protein will always stay at 40 minimum. I do change up my carbs and fat. May go 25% on fats then lower carbs 5%. I'd like to drop bf a little more but I don't want to lose any weight right now. And I definitely didn't plan to lose weight at 3200 + cals.

Yeah, I have no desire to step on stage but for pics I would sure like to at least hit a couple poses.

Thanks for the comment on Symmetry.. To me I don't see it though. For some reason when I look in the mirror I can't see the definition in my quads. Took the camera to convince me I had some!

Right now I'm at 21% on fats but have another 300+ cals to fit in. So here in a few I'll make a shake and have some cashews and pecans.

Wow, 30 grams of fat. Do you count your fish oils? Olive oil(if you cook with it)? 30 grams would make me totally have to revamp my foods.
You're very disciplined to keep them that low.

I think there may be an error somewhere in your figuring..
that would put you at > 1500cals daily, with what you post..
unless you are on some starvation diet I don't know about....huh-uh

30g fat is just silly anyway - unless you are in final stages of a contest prep run, no way you need to even approach being that low

and remember - if you are not on gear, fat is the testosterone synthesizer ;)
 
Day 65 - rest/cardio

I wasn't happy with my abs in the pics yesterday, so took one this morning since I wouldn't have all that food in me.

My waist is around 35-35.5 but I wear 33's if I can find them to fit over my thighs. Even some 34's are tight in the thighs and I don't think I have big thighs.

I think those come from the hundreds of crunches I use to do every day. When I was in the army I could knock out 100 sit-ups in the allotted 60 seconds. Yeah, I've always been blocky, even my head! Lol

Not a good day and not a bad day, just a blah day. I forgot to take my Muscle Fiber last night and let's just say the workout was uncomfortable. Felt bloaty and some gas pains. Definitely threw me off my game. My workout wasn't bad just not the volume and didn't feel like pushing to the limit.

Funny how quickly one dose can affect you isnt it. I ran in to the same issue last week.
My dinner last night didn't help any that's for sure!
Lean ground turkey and beef, black beans, rice, a little cheese, Greek yogurt, and salsa. All mixed together. And at about 8pm. Had a late night at work... I survived though.

I think I need a rest. No PR's today. Probably need to change up starting Friday and go higher reps less weight. It's been awhile and I really haven't let off the gas pedal any. Always pushing to the Max, failure on each exercise for weight.
