Like I said before and I'll say it again; I have no issue with you. You have shown respect to me and the board in your time here. You are very welcome to stay and share. As well any members here are free to come and go wherever they feel. The one exception we take is when members here disregard rules of behavior and posting and of course take offense at the disrespecting of the AM owner and staff while posting on other boards.

I'm likely not inclined to join any new boards any time soon. I have not joined yours in any fashion for any purpose as someone so mistakenly stated over there.

I do wish you luck and success over at your place.

I think a forum should encourage people to think as individuals and question, That is what makes democracy so great. Prohibiting this behavior will be the downfall of this forum that I had grown to love.

You cannot be serious. Thinking and being an individual and asking questions is one thing and no one has issue with that. But when that thinking and acting as an individual results is disrespecting and abusing board members and staff and owner it has gone too far.

You cant honestly tell us, that if someone talked sh!t about you on another forum, and you owned this forum, you wouldnt ban their ass. Why should they have to put up with it. On the other hand if they banned someone for jokes or friendly sarcasm, thats different. From what ive seen some of it is very offensive.

This seems to be a case of egos out of control (not eggos, but ego.... ;) ) I am delighted to be part of this forum and BDS, but i dont agree with offensive name calling and what not.

the offensive namecalling was childish but i didnt see it directed at anyone that behaved any differently, or in some cases, deserving of it.

someone on one side needed to back down to avoid this cluster ****. B5150, you have said more than once that you were "done" with this group. Couldnt you have left it at that?

i havent seen any offensive posts since then on this forum except in BDS threads, in which case they arent really offensive anyway. This was all completely unnecessary and ridiculous.
 
Honestly Mashed You and I both havent been around here long enough to know what has been going on. I find it quite odd that so many BDS members are being banned for sticking up for each other and voicing their opinions

User infractions are given to those who violate the rules of the board. Essentially they are warnings and should be looked upon as an opportunity to read the rules. User infractions are not up for debate and questioning the judgements of MODS will not be tolerated.

If you receive an infraction, read the rules to go over what you violated, take your medicine and move on. The infraction will expire after time and the issue is a done deal. Continued violation of the rules will result in a ban.

Very true statement bro, but even from an outsiders point of view i see b and bobos point of view.

I am not judging those who called such and such names etc, but im stating my opinion on the matter. I am not involved in it so im staying clear. Just dont appreciate being refered to as a butt kisser (whether direct or not) those of us who do not disagree with b5s actions. Hes the mod. he can ban us for whatever he likes (hopefully within reason). end of story.

I will miss those guys, but glad they have a place over at lb.

these guys werent stupid, you had the ban stick and obviously could employ it at any time. Things were going to happen the way you wanted it no matter the dissension. They understood that.

It seems their name calling and fraternizing were not enough to get them banned, but rather their questioning of your authority. I saw an effort on the part of those warned to stop the actions mentioned. I even saw a new thread posted in the gold section to avoid "polluting" the rest of the board.

So someone got mad and posted a sig on another board. was any attempt made to ask him to take it down before all out banning him? again, it is understood that this isnt a discussion, but making an effort to solve the problem without a ban stick may have avoided the banning of the rest of these members, all of which were contributing and knowledgeable members of this community (who had been reigned in).

We all know this is board rules!!! Please dont disrespect AM in anyway,shape or form.....I hope EVERYONE can see that!!!! I dont like to be mocked,and whoever did it....you chose to disrespect me....not sure who.....but it's sad that it had to come to that........

When I say I am done, I am done with reasoning with people that cannot be reasoned with. The rules are the rules. The disrespect by those three was many many times over. Gixxer and RA had made their opinions about this clear numerous times. I tried to reason with them over and over and over again. I promise you that the only reason that this is even a discussion is because I am reasoning with you as a member of the community who also enforces the rules. Part of why I am in the position I am in is because i am an active member of the community. This also allows me the opportunity to try to be the voice of reason with people. Bobo would have banned them without a second thought or a single word otherwise. So it seems that I am now the bad guy? I'll be over it soon.

My question is....who would go over to another board....SLAM me personally(and very personally,and very uncalled for...),that only a AM member could do...POST 1 time.....and then post in my thread that things are out of hand in that thread????........

NO BDS member would post that

what did it say. And by the sounds of the user name (trrippppdddooooog) you said, it sounds like someone with a mocking ability personality. Possibly someone who enjoys stirring things up, doesnt like you.

I dont know what was said, so from the username you mentioned that was my guess. (also the fact they couldnt think of a better mocking name = someone with a basic sense of humor, lack of interlectual intelligence for somethign better etc)
