Tribulus.......any comments?

Hi All,

Now before you all shout :gotsearch I have done a load of reading about Tribulus, and I throw it in as its cheap and can't do any harm right :ponder:

But I would be interested to see if anyone has any comments, as the jury seems to be out whether it actually makes any difference.

The floor, gentlemen, is yours............

There is no evidence supporting the use of tribulus terrestris for having any effect on testosterone in humans.

Some older gents report an improvement of libido, however.

I'm alittle skeptical when it comes to tribulus, felt good when I took it. However not sure it was a placebo effect.

All the research I've seen points to its libido boosting properties, which I've enjoyed first hand, but that is about it. No test boost here gentlemen.

its in just about all the diesel test products, which has always been my favorite. but all the science i see says the regular trib is garbage... although, there may be benefits in the other strains like whats used in PRIME

^^^Exactly.

If your looking for performance enhancement in the gym tribulus terrestris won't do sh*t...that is the blunt truth. However, if your looking for help with performance in the bedroom than tribulus is a great help there. Tribulus terrestris alone has been shown to increase the chance of pregnancy by 30% in couples trying to have children. In addition, there is a study done on castrated rats where tribulus terrestris was causing the rats to display sexual behavior as well...crazy stuff, but if something can cause you to act sexually after you lose your tool that is saying something...LOL. :toofunny:

Anyway, something that has been alluded to already is that you cannot write off Tribulus in general as far as sports performance goes because there may be other species of tribulus that actually do increase testosterone, but the Terrestris species of Tribulus can be written off for sure as far as all the research I have read.

Cheers!
