tribulus and clomid caused gyno?

Hey, my friend has been into lifting as long as i have and we talk about it quite often but recently he said something that just doesnt sound right to me. He said he has read clomid can be the cause of gyno and that his friend actually got gyno from taking tribulus. What do you guys think about this? i call bs on the trib but i kinda see how it could be POSSIBLE to get gyno from clomid if not taken correctly.
 
Tribulus......WTF?!?!?!! That makes no sense at all.... The clomid could arguably cause it, but trib? Man I don't see that at all. Anyone else have a take on this?

I knew a guy who got gyno from drinking Tribulus Shots. (Dead Serious)

Also from what I gather, Clomid closely resembles Estrogen in structure, so it's not hard to fathom I guess.
 
Someone show me some proof clomid would cause gyno. Thats bull$hit
 
Correct me if I'm wrong guys. One of the bodies reaction to clomid is to increase production of Leutinizing Hormone which signals the testicles to produce testosterone. If the clomid caused a large enough increase in testosterone and therefore a large increase in estrogen after the test aromatizes then gyno could be a possibility.
 
Except that Clomid is an estrogen antagonist in the breast tissue, so unless he suddenly stoped taking very high doses after getting his T levels elevated, I just don't see it.

Hell, even then the increased estrogen from T conversion would soon lower T without the Clomid until the body reached hormonal homeostasis.

Actually, I don't think Clomid works in breast tissue like Nolva, it competes with estrogen in the pituitary. Nolvadex is commonly prescribed to women for preventing breast cancer and Clomid is used an as infertility drug because it increases secretion of gonadatropins.

That is true though that once Clomid usage ends the body would try to reach hormonal balance. Problem is some people have issues that will cause things you would not normally see such as an improper SHBG level.

clomiphene citrate is used for treatment of ovulation induction, and tamoxifen is an ER antagonist activity in the breast, and is used for prevention and treatment of ER-positive breast cancer.

Exactly. My grandma is prescribed Tamoxifen for breast cancer. Clomid is also competes for estrogen receptors but it does not work in the breat tissue it works in the pituitary and the hypothalumus.
