Transdermal homemade formula input needed

If you mix a resveratrol/DMSO solution with a Formestane/penetrate solution, both solutions diffuse into one another. Meaning you will have DMSO, Formestane, and Resveratrol dissolved in your Penetrate matrix.

my recommendation would be to throw everything into the Penetrate, and add DMSO as needed. 10% is preferred, you could go up to 15% DMSO if needed (40 mL total of DMSO).

Careful with the DMSO, though, it smells bad, may irritate your skin, and causes bad breathe.

ok thanks again. so lets say i add 5g of form to 8oz of penetrate(added correctly of course: glass jar, in water on the stove a little at a time), how many grams of the trans-res do you think i could get in the penetrate+5g of form before having to add any DMSO? i know you cant know for sure but very roughly, 1g, 3g, 5g? also do you have any idea of how much 98-99%trans-res should be added to get about as much as you would get with say derm sustain or even a 600mg oral dose of 98%
 
well, I can answer parts. assuming 30 days supply of pumping out of the bottle. to get 150mg a day out like sustain you'd need 4.5g. If that 134 number was "per serving" at 2 a day, then you need 9g. My guess is you can fit 5-7g in with the form, and that DMSO won't let any signficant amount more go into solution that goes into the base carrier.
 
i think i saw Dsade say you can usually get 12 or 15 grams (cant remember)of powder into a bottle of penetrate... but you gotta remember the less you put in the more easily it can be absorbed since the carrier will more easily be able to surround and transfer the copound through the skin, lots means you may have too much that will just remain on the top of the skin.

I think the best thing would be to take a needle and poke tons of holes in the abdominal skin layer to allow more actives to make it in:ntome: LOL Sorry could not resist:(

The only issue is the rate of mass transfer via convection (because you would be bleeding) will greatly outweigh that from diffusion. I think at this point, you might save yourself the trouble and get a 31gage syringe.

if my wife wouldn't have been pregnant, I would have considered dumping the caps + making transdermal

I paid $120 for a total of 39.6g that way. $20 a bottle for 60 110mg caps

the ether (in know what you were using) would make it way to large for an appreciable transdermal absorption. 1-T is also a potent skin irritant. My hat goes off to any of the fellas who've injected that stuff (Owww!).
 
ya that i would think that would have been the way to go about it for sure but i totally think youve made the wiser choice. Ive been contemplating running 4-ad trans in the future BUT i am really worried bout transfer to my son or wife, specially since your arms are one f the best places to put it and things i can cover like my stomach and back can actually be the worst since the skin is typically thicker there.....

ah yeah true. I forgot that the ether changed that. Ah well. I wish I could have spent the effort to turn the caps into the gelcaps. I tried getting single caps into solution in either oils or alchohol, and didn't manage to get either in in a couple quick tries, so gave up.

You're married now, right? Just brush off the cobwebs, shave off any excess inner thigh hair, and apply the transdermal base. ;)

But seriously, your thighs are probably the best place to go with transdermals because they offer a large surface area, and...I mean... who touches your inner thigh? You're usually wearing pants or shorts at all times when in public (or at least I hope you are), and unless you're a 1970's NBA player, they usually cover up your inner thigh.

if any one had an informative answer mixed with the appropriate amount of humor it would be you :thumbsup: thanks as this is what i was hoping for but thought it may not be a good area, your post has proven my worries unfounded and made poops a happy guy since doing it trans will be much more effective and economical.... and if I occasionally get a wild hair up my ass and sport some dukes to the gym.... well i guess ill use the collar bone area :D
