Transdermal for loose skin?

This might be long so apologies in advance. First time poster lol.

I’ve lost 170 lbs, and now currently eating in a surplus to try to fill some of this skin out. I’m sure surgery is going to be the best option, but would love to see what some time + products could do to try and rebound some of this midsection.

According to the last DEXA scan I had I was sitting at 13.2% BF but the handful of my stomach I can grab has my mind thinking otherwise, like it may be loose skin, or I may be holding onto fat there still.

Also a couple weeks into running
Anabolic effect
Recomp20
M-test
AlphaOne

And will be starting inhibit-e in a few days when it arrives.

Based on all this, which transdermal would you recommend? If one at all? Or open to any other suggestions. Thank you all!

I too have loose skin around my midsection from previously being obese. From my research years ago there’s really not much we can do for drastic results besides surgery. Depending on how long you were obese, and how fast you got obese depends on how much it will tighten up after losing the fat. Keeping it moisturized as much as possible helps. I also haven’t looked into it in years because I kinda gave up on it, so maybe there’s been advancements in skin care for extra skin.

First off, congratulations. That's incredible! You lost a whole human being! Unfortunately there's nothing that's going to bring the elasticity back from that kind of weight loss, collagen supplements and HGH can help thicken and bring back a little elasticity but like mentioned above, there's a lot of factors that come into play and age is a big factor as well. At 40 or 50 our skin ain't the same as when we were 20. Building muscle will help fill it back out a little too but there's limits. I have several people who got surgery after we lost the weight and it seems like a reasonably easy process with a fairly short recovery window. Definitely a big personal decision to make

Unfortunately from what research I’ve done it doesn’t seem like there has been advancements. The devices I’ve looked into they all seem to have very hit or miss reviews if they help, which I fully don’t expect a miracle, just would be nice to see some improvement.

But in the same token who’s to say the same improvements wouldn’t come from time and continuing to train.

Really was just curious if there was a product I hadn’t seen yet haha.

I like the mindset on the training. Congratulations on the weight loss by the way. Who knows, that product could still be out there!

Thank you! It was done a little over 2 years.
That's awesome dude. Everyone on this planet has the ability to do something amazing like that, but less than 1% are willing to put in the required effort and it's not just with weight loss, it's with anything in this life.

You are now the 1%💪👏👏👏

Wow nice loss. In terms of skin I don't know. Like everyone else says it's probably gonna be impossible. Large dose of Creatine, glutamine, collagen and hyraulonic acid makes my skin appear more firm or filled out. Arimastane 17-dione too. I think you gotta start building muscles and keep a calorie surplus but within limits so you don't become obesed again. A good diet focused on home cooked food high in protein and fats (with good carbs).

If its actual fat, however. Then it's best to be on a smaller defecit and keep insuline low. Skin will become firmer... In time. It did for me. Even for 2 months my stomach still looked loose and fatty. Then things started happening just over night lol. And celery stalks you can try because if your stomach holds a lot of unnecessary water, this could appear as loose skin too. Celery would dry you out a bit

Going into testing. I have a formula that will be used in conjunction with a dermaroller.

Micro needling works, need to do this once a week.

Also, Testosterone applied to the skin has some pretty good results. Check out video Skin improvement

OneSkin has a peptide called OS-01 in it, supposed to be good for skin.

Rapamycin Skin cream has some very good results. Check out study Rapamycin Skin Cream

I really am sketipcal of transdermal skin tightening products

I won one in my first bodybuilding competition some kind of yohimbine cream if I remember right and used it the next competition in 2009

Not sure if it’s still sold

Some people used to wrap preparation h in clear plastic wrap to their stomach the night before when one wanted to look their best

Those are extreme measures and I wouldn’t do them. I did the transdermal stuff bc I won it for free but would never spend money. I don’t think it hurt anything

Micro needling work help

If not at 170 lbs thats a lot of stomach stretch and I don’t really know if you can get the elastic ally back since it’s been stretched that much

Now 50 or less lbs , esp if your 20-30s or less , possible. Coconut oil most days while coming down

The older you get in general, unless you have superhuman elastic skin rebound , the less the skin will tighten up, for most people
