Training and Fasting

What do u eat for early breakfast? I usually drink some water and that's it

I usually eat whatever's available... for today's Seher I had 2 meat slices (beef) with flat baked breads and pickles and a glass of milk and water....

That may seem like I am on monster food but truly I am not... it was not even a 100grams of protein I guess or maybe it was... The meat I got today was *GOOD LUCK* usually what I get is veggies or any other boring thing.

U know you SHOULD eat whatever's available, even junk food if it's available, cause one has to proveide his/her body with the nutrition and the energy to take em through the day... Eat whatever's available... no matter what it is, peas, rice, veggies, meat, bread or jam or peanut butter, pickles, any fastfood, eggs, anything at all! just eat.

what are your current stats? weight height bf% what are you doing/want to do right now gaining or losing?
 
Trying to cut. Lol I made a bet with a friend about getting in better shape than him by 2 months. I made a thread a few days ago and am still waiting for some replies lol
 
i do thin that fasting in Ramadan , will help mainly people who have problems , in losing weight . and what i like about fasting is that u r Abs get revealed quickly in comparison to tha past days , because i do not need to train them 3 to 4 times a week as i used to do , but instead i do that only 2 times a week which is enough for me . gud luck bro
 
I am soooo angry and pissed of on the AC! and on the electricity issues! couldn't even post up here, have alot to post and also have to reply u guys! I will to that as soon as possible... I won't forget! I'll do it today some how.!

Oh no no! I HAVE problems in losing weight lemme tell u this. In ramadan I usually add on fat due to the BS foods I eat. And yes if diet is going good than fasting can be of GREAT advantag!

Yesterday I had a lil low food for breaking the fast thou, but it was ok.

In the gym I trained Chest.

Dumbbell flat bench presses: 30 or 35kg dumbbell for 12 reps.

Dumbbell flat bench flyes: 10kg dumbbell for 17 reps.

Incline wide grip bench: 40kg for 12 reps. Really could go like 60 kg for 10. Soreness has gone and I think I CAN try lifting a bit heavy.

Decline bench press: 50kg for 12 reps. (over here again felt like I could go up with the weights)

I am certain that I will take the weights up from now on...

After the gym had like 200-300 gram of chicken along with 2 glasses of milk.

and at 1am I was feeling a bit hungry, had a hamburger and some chocolate cookies :P

The air conditioner is messed up! needs to b fixed!
 

I'm trying "intermittent fasting" at the moment... It's great... I have gain strength, but lost a little size, fat included... Not a problem though cos I'm not planning on bulking anytime soon... Any tips?

I think you should not have lost muscle while intermittent fasting... How's you diet like?

My diet isn't the best as I suffer from ibs quite bad, as in I don't get enough calories(Average 1400cals per day) which is not good considering I'm a PT... I eat pretty clean... I need to start supplementing protein... This ibs is a bitch to work with as I get bloated quite easily when I eat too much & also certain foods... I take Kre-Alkalyn over Mono cos the bloat when loading... I take pre workouts... Drink plenty of water... I'm pretty sure I need to eat more...

*& your right that your not suppose to lose muscle...
 
the hodge twins are fasting..(youtube) and working seem to work for them
 
I'm fasting as well and while it is difficult to only eat within a 6 hour window, I cant argue with the results. My strength isn't gone as long as I lift, but I've lost a decent bit of fat.

Fasting for 16-20 hours has been shown to increase HGH levels in a man by nearly 2000%. Compound that with HIIT exercises and/or lifting and your body should be surging with anabolic hormones.

I watch them too... That's what got me into it because I already workout on an empty stomach to burn fat...

They are definitely gettin all kinds of gains from it...

Eh bro wanna know how it's working for u. But here is some advice. Fast your days in a row because if u eat good then it's easier to fast in a row these to fast 1 day eat the second and fast the 3rd because your body has to adjust and it's harder. Just some advice I learned over the years lol

LOL what a coincidence!! U know I am also trying to load up calories in me. I am also haveing V less calories but still I manage to go to like 2000-3000 or maybe 4000 or more if lucky... and also I get bloated real easy also with certain foods.... I am also pretty sure that I need to eat more and clean :P

Hey one thing, to get the calories in, I can't argue with getting the dirty foods in... Why don't u eat a lil dirty to get in more calories?
 

I feel hell guilty when I eat dirty bro... Working on revealing my abs... Vanity is a bitch, but when u look good, u feel good... I'm going to invest in some meal replacements to help get them calories in & see how that goes...

I'm taking 6g Kre-alkalyn daily
When my Superpump Max & Sizeon get here(I buy online) I'll be taking that on workout days...

nooo, he means that you should do fasting in a row... not like you fast 1st day, don't fast the 2nd and then again fast the 3rd. Like, be consistant with your fasting... don't break the fasting days cycle...

Today to break the fast: Chicken bread, Chicken Pattie, Salad, water.. it was clean today....
GYM​

Deadlifts: 80kg x 6
Bent barbell rows: 30kg x 20

5 mins of cardio cycling.

It was a realllly short ass workout today...


NOTE - well I think the strength is comming... deffinately gonna try 90kg on deads nxt time and on barbell rows, even today I though I could do atleast 40-50kg but didn't... left it for another HEAVY day.

DId only 15 mins of HIIT today.

30 secs on 45 secs rest.... it was brutal without a fan! Lights were out!

Today's workout was just epic!

GYM

Triceps:

Closer Grip Bench Press: 60kg x 8
Narrow Grip Skullcrushers: 15kg x 8
Overhead Narrow Grip Skullcrushers: 15kg x 10
V-Bar Pushdowns: 15 reps.


Biceps:

Underhand Grip Pullups: 10 reps.
High Cable Curls: 4plates x 12 reps.
Incline DB Hammer Curls: 12kg dumbbells for 15 reps.
Incline DB curls: 12kg dumbbells for 8 reps.
Barbell Curls: 10kg x 8
Crossbody Hammer Curls: 6kg dumbbell for 15 reps (each arm)


Reverse Barbell Curls: 10kg x 20 reps.
Wrist Curls: 20kg x 20 reps.


This was really Intense! thou 1 set on each won't seem much but it was perfect! awesome awesome pump! really The most EPIC workout of my fasting!

No as in 1,2,3 in a row. Not 1,3,5. Just an example. It's easier for your body to stay on the same schedule than to switch it back and forth
 
What hours of the day are you fasting zubda? Just the daylight hours? If so are you eating prior to sunup?
