Ok gang I got my supp in the mail yesterday and today marks day 1 for my log. A little background on me:
I am 24 yrs old and have been training since 14. I have used just about every fad supp to come down the pike due to my youth and ignorance so I will know exactly how this supp works on me. I played Division 1 lacrosse for 4 years and have tried every type of training program there is. now my goals are focussed on finding a diet/supplementaion program so i can hopefully one day compete in BB and maybe this supp will be the one. we will see.

Current stats:
24
6'0"
218 (this morning)
i would say around 12-13% bf

Training while on Beta:
I only train full body workouts as i love moving heavy weights with compound movements and this has been the most effective for me over the years.

the only modifiaction i have made is i have dropped 1 set per exercise per day as i will be on a calorie deficit.

it all depends on how i feel i am progressing. I know a lot of people dont like t-nation or chad waterbury around here but his programs have been hands down the best programs i have ever used and the gains i have had from them are phenomenal. i reccommend anyone who has been using split type routines to give these a go and i gaurantee you will have awesome results.

I harldy ever max out so here are some recent bests:
Bench: 290x3
Squat: 300x3 (close stance ATG)
BB row: 225x5
dips: 90 lb DB x 3
Dead lift: 365 x 3

Diet:
Right now i am using a diet very similar to the diet Beast (Derek) is using on the "contest prep" section. Along with this i am doing 2 refeed days during the week on workout days. usually these are monday and friday.
my cals are around 3000/day and i try to keep the carbs at around 100-150 per day, all from oats and veggies. fat intake will be around 120g per day, mostly from walnuts, natty peanut butter and a total omega three supp.

Cardio:
i do about 20 min of cardio post workout and jumprope for 20 min in the morning before work 3 day a week bringing total cardio to 5-6 day a week depending on how i feel.

Supp routine:
I am trying to keep this beta product exclusive so i limit my supps. here's how it is going to be:

Beta
Flameout
protein powder
lean green

all of the others besides beta have been in my supp routine for over 3 months so i will know how beta effects me for sure.

Ok,
I took 3 caps this morning before breakfast and withing 2 hours the effects were there. I know what that ingredient you guys were waiting for is: 100% pure cocaine :blink: !!
all kidding aside i felt the effects for sure. i am pretty sensitive to stims and it felt like i was on ephedra for sure. i also felt body temp increase and almost jittery so i waited about an hour to go to the gym.

here was the workout:
all 3 sets of 6 reps
DB incline: 100's
Hack squat (the real kind): 225
Upright row: 120
close grip bench: 185
standing calf raises: 325 (on machine)
BB curls: 105

still felt strong all throughout, no lack of evergy thats for sure. had to take alittle longer between sets than i like to though becasue my heart was racing.

i will have another update tonight after dose 2.

trailer, where did you play lax? my cousin played at princeton, was on the us national team, and plays professionally now- he is a pretty good athlete (but i can still kick his ass at everything but lax)!!

it is a fun sport to watch- i never played (too busy w/ football, baseball and track), plus i went to school down south and none of our high schools ever had a team- anyway, i digress;) keep us posted on the log!!

Whose your cousin D? chances are i would know him. i played at ohio state and grew up in baltimore, md. i had a couple of friends play at princeton (2 from my class and two the year below me). i also am friends with a good number of guys in the pro league, both indoor and outdoor.

holy **** man, small world. i dont know him on a personal level but i do know a lot of the guys he played with: brian nee, hunter lochte, kevin sullivan, dave rose, etc. i went to calvert hall and was 2 years behind him. thats crazy.
 
****- you know Rosie?! that is a small world- ****- i have known him since i was 14- last time i saw him was Australia for the world cup like 4 years ago- he is a good dude- i guess you know john glaztel (sp.) and some of those other guys too!!

yeh man, i just spent new years with rose down in dewey beach. dont know glatzel but did spend a summer at ocean city with ian shure who lived with another guy a couple of blocks down. very small world.
 
Day 2 update

weight:216

this was definitely attributed to me not eating enough yesterday as i was running around like a chicken sans head.

today i took 2 pills 2x to see how it effected me. suprisingly i didnt feel any effects at all so tomorrow it is back to 3 caps 3x daily. i love the feel of cocaine in the morning :woohoo:
no cardio today because i usually take one day a week off and today was that one.

today's meals:
10am: 1 cups oats w/ 1 cup blueberries and 2 scoops ON protein powder.

12:30: 6 oz chicken breast w 1 cup organic carrots and 1 organic yougurt, 4 flameout caps

2:30: 6 oz chicken breast, 1 apple, 1/2 cup pecans

4:00: 6 oz chicken breast, 1 cup spinach, 2 tbsp flaxseed oil

7:00: 6 oz chicken breast, 1 cup carrots, 1/2 cup pecans

9:30: 6 egg whites, 1/4 cup part skim cheese, 1/8 cupe lean turkey meat.

tomorrow is a refeed day so i am looking forward to carb city!!!
 
Day 3:

Weight: 217

Ok gang. took 2 in the morning due to what felt like heart palpatations. i get them every now and then but doc says it is nothing to worry about. felt a slight buzz through my morning meeting at work. then took 2 before my workout. right during squats i felt the furnace turn on. what a burst of energy.

Workout numbers:
All 5 sets of 3
Dips: BW + 85 lb DB
Squats: 275 (could have gone higher)
Chin-ups: BW + 15 lb DB
Leg curls: 130

Had to skimp on the calf raisies due to an emergency at home. New pet seahorses were in peril.

Diet was full of carbs today as it was a refeed.

1: 1 cup oats, 1 cup blueberries, 2 scoops protein, 1 grapefruit

2: 3 cups pasta w/ turkey meat sauce and 1 sliced chicken breast thrown in

3: same as 2

WORKOUT

4: Surge PW with a banana

5: 6 oz chiken breast with 1/2 cup pecans and apple

6: shake with 2 scoops protein powder, 1/4 cup pecans, banana and flameout.

Sorry no update yesterday but here comes today:

weight: 215.

i think most of this is water loss due to the low carb diet i have adhered to. I have to go to lunch with a business contact today so i am gong to do my best to avoid the simple carbs. I am still trying to keep my cals at around 3000 per day which is roughly 14 x BW. refeed days are obviously higher, prob close to 4000.

took three caps this morning and dont feel the buzz yet but i am sure i will. D or CEOSM if you see this send me an email at [email protected], i have a question for you.

Day 7:

Weight: 215

I can definitely see more definition in my upper abs and shoulders than a week ago. Not sure how much of this is attributed to beta and how much is attributed to the diet but time will tell.

Here are today's workout stats:
all 3 sets of 6
Incline DB: 100's
Front squat: 185
CG bench: 185
UR rows: 120

So far strength is staying where i want it too with weight loss. I also feel the temp rising all day and i really feel it when i start to do something athletic. the whole time i was lifitng i could feel the heat. great product so far.

I would love to try some symmetry to see if i could gain some LBM while losing fat so if you guys are interested shoot me a reply.

Have you noticed any tightness in your jaw while taking the supps? I have, but it may be unrelated.

Nope, no tightness at all. I actually feel very good on this stuff. not jittery anymore and just plain good. I have had no ill side effects at all so I am one happy guy so far.
 
Today's update:

Weight: 214

I am pretty confident that it is the beta that is heloing this weight loss. I am eating around 3000 - 3500 cals a day and still losing weight. all my strength is still there so that is a good sign.

6 pills today

I am changing my workout to a two day a week plan which you can see in my first post on this thread. i am also starting cardio on March 1st so that should help as well. so far all weight loss is diet and beta.

Today's update:

Weight:214

Today was a serious carb day as planned so i am feeling full and happy. I have decided to take a week off from lifting b/c i have been lifting for 6 months straight. i will be back in the swing of it on friday. i will continue to do cardio though to keep the metabolism up.

Meals:
1 cup oats
2 scoops ON whey
1 grapefruit

2 big burgers from restaurant

Turkey and egg white omelette (6 whites)
apple

same as before w 1 slice wheat toast

portein shake w/ almonds.

I hope to see some more definition by the beginning of next week so i am going to pic up the cardio a bit.

Sorry for the no posting, i was away this weekend without access to cpu. I actually ate worse than i would have liked to but maybe that will work in my favor and speed up the metabolism. i def look a little leaner than last weekend but feel flat due to carb restriction. i gues that is the trade off though.

Diet is still clean with about 150g of carbs on non-training days and 500 g of carbs on training days. this week is high gear cardio and weights. hopefully it will start a melt down.

Nice log trailer, you are a meat for sure. How is this Beta stuff working out for you and where did you get it?
 
Today's update:

Weight 213 this morning.

Jumped back into the swing of things after a week off. here is todays workout:

all 10 sets of 3 with a 45 sec rest between sets to keep heart rate up.

deads: 315
chin ups: BW
Front squats: 175
Dips: 60 lb DB

At the end i was feeling it. I then did 10 min of speedbag work for some glycogen depleted fat burning.

Here are today's meals so far:

1: 1 cup oats, 2 scoops protein powder, 1 large grapefruit

2: chicken breast, 1 cup carrots, 1/4 cup almonds

3: black angus quiznos sub

4. PWO - Surge shake

5: chicken breast w/ baked potatoe and 1 cup carrots

6: 6 egg white omelette with ground turkey.


I also added synergy in the mix to help gain some mass while dieting or at least help to hold on to it. Hey USP, got any Anavar?

bml4399, beta is a supp i am testing for USP and it is for fat loss. i guess if it works well they will sell it on the market.

This is actually a good thing to me as i feel like some of the wieght i have lost is water. now it is time for serious fat burn.

Today's meals:

1: 1 cup oats, 2 scoops protein powder

2. 2 scoops PP, 1 grapefruit, 1/4 cup walnuts

3: chicken breast, 1/2 cup walnuts, 1 cup carrots

4. 2 scoops PP, 2 tbsp natural peanut butter

5: 6 egg white omelette with ham

6: chicken breast w/ 1 cup carrots and 4 FLameout

dont hit the weights again until fri but i am doing afternoon cardio.
 
UPDATE:

Weight:211

I can finally say that this stuff is definitely making a difference. My girlfriend even made a comment today that i look leaner and she hardly ever comments on that. i can also see a difference when i wake up.

Diet has been clean the last 3 days. I am still lifting 2 days a week and using those days to refeed. this has worked very well for me.
 
Awsome log. I just ordered some c2 and campbolic,to take with my bulk. After spring break i plan on going on a cut,so i am interested in getting this product!!
