Tr1umph + ?

Hey all you supplement gurus, currently I am taking BPI Best Creatine as my pre-workout (i'm stim sensitive) and Universal Torrent as my post-workout. This combo has been working well for me and will continue to run until I run out of both. However, my curiousity has got the best of me and I am planning on running Tr1umph next. It is my understanding that if you can handle the gastro effects of Tr1umph, its more effective to take full dose pre-workout. My question is what should I run post workout to make a killer synegistic? pre/post combo (I plan to take ON Gold Standard as that is my go-to, but open to changing that as well)? Torrent is too expensive at $2+ dollars per serving so I really want to discontinue even if I wasn't going to take Tr1umph.
 
I stack w beta alanine pre and some post. Synergistic effects with creatine, and the major staple I use that's not in triumph
 
You've made a wise choice. Tr1umph is going to add a lot of solid anabolic/ergogenic aids to your supp regimen.

The gastro effects of Tr1umph/PA seem to only affect a few people. It's unfortunate for those few, but I wouldn't be afraid to try a full scoop right out of the gate and see how you respond. Most will handle it just fine. So, that said, I would do 1 full scoop 30-45 minutes pre-workout, and 1 scoop at anytime on off days.

As for post-workout, I'm not really a huge fan of post-workout supps. "Spiking" insulin and "fast digesting" carbs/protein-sources are pretty much bro science. IMHO, your best bet (and best value) is to simply make sure you're consuming some protein and carbs within an hour after working out. I like to switch it up. Some days I'll have a protein shake with milk and a banana. Some days I'll just eat a normal meal. Sometimes I make "proats", (protein powder mixed with milk and oats), and eat it like cereal.

In short: I would drop Torrent, (no offense to Universal, they make some good products), and just get carbs and protein in within a reasonable time after training. Tr1umph, carbs, and protein are going to cover virtually everything you were getting from Torrent. You could either pocket the money you've saved, or put it towards another supplement.

If you're stim sensitive, and want some nice focus, added endurance, and a huge pump, I'd look at Invalid Link Removed. Take this with Tr1umph 30-45 min pre-workout and you'll have an amazing session. If you haven''t tried a well-rounded stim free preworkout before, you're in for a real treat. I've never noticed anything from beta-alanine, except for tingles like a meth head. Lynks8 had some great supp suggestions. Having said that, I have had better results with a protein shake asap post workout. Fast carbs post workout doesn't seem to have any effect, but I do prefer to have dextrose post workout when I'm bulking and need the extra carbs. The protein shake/fast carbs are of your preference and what works best for you. As for tr1umph, I like to take 1/2 scoop post workout as well.
 
I would consider an xgels run with it. Both are great components of a good bulk.

You probably know what most of these ingredients do. Creatine speaks for itself. Should be a part of your supplement stash always.

Betaine helps promote protein synthesis and possibly nitric oxide levels. Per Performax Labs website, a study conducted by the University of Connecticut found that individuals supplementing with 1.25 grams of betaine twice/daily increased bench press power 20%. I think I have a few studies saved on my phone for a few ingredients found in PowerMax XT.

That's a great idea. I love making my homemade weight gainers with whey and raw oats :)

And I second the notion of x gels. One of my favorite supplements.

I have found, personally, my go to for post workout is an amino or post workout type product immediately after, get home and have a thick shake followed by a carb and protein heavy meal.

20-40g (age dependent) of Protein sometime within the next 4-6hrs. Hit Protein Total for the day. Back when I thought I needed something loaded with Sugar, 72 seconds after finishing the last set, I'd do a scoop of Whey/Casein, 1 Cup of Milk, and 1 Cup of Captain Crunch.

I like triumph and x gels or triumph and ABE. Both would be great options.
 
x3 on x gels + tr1umph. Great synergy with the ArA and PA!
 
I see a lot of x gels add. X gels better to stack than follidrone 2.0 if had to choose between the two? Looking for lean muscle gain...

You really can't go wrong with either product, but ARA (x gels) has been the tried and true product for lean muscle gain.
