Toyin' with CreO2 & Carnage (sponsored)

I'm on CKD, so I'm taking in < 30g carbs per day, and I do not want to come out of ketosis until my refeed (where I take in 1000-1500g carbs:burger:).
A typical day of looks like this:

Meal 1: 4 large eggs, 2 slices bacon
Meal 2: 1.5 scoops whey, 1Tbsp EVOO, 2 Tbsp miled flax
Workout
Meal 3: 2 scoops whey, 1 Tbsp Safflower Oil
Meal 4: 4oz. lean turkey sausage, 2 oz. mozzarella cheese
Meal 5: 4 oz. boneless turkey breast, broccoli w/ ranch, 1/4 C peanuts
Meal 6: heaping scoop of casein/gemma protein shake, 2 Tbsp peanut butter

Approx. Macros Content: 125g fat / 217 g protein / 16 g carbs
Approx. cals: 1125 / 868 / 64
Approx. ratios: 55/42/3
Total cals: 2057

don't worry about strength dropping then, this is common on low carbs. look for increase in strength after re-feed. accept the lose of strength on this diet as price you have to pay, strength should come back rapidly when you introduce carbs back into diet.

11/4 Lower Body

Hack Squat: 220x20
Sumo DL: 315x12
Leg Curl: 140 x 12/3/1 rp
Leg Ext: 270 x 15/5/3 rp
Dec. DB Ham. Curl: 40 x 12/5/3 rp
Single Leg Calf Ext. (leg press): 155 x 20/11/7 rp
Abs: 3 sets

Good workout overall, I was happy with my DLs (its been awhile since I've done bent knee DLs). The HS set was grueling, I probably could have squeezed out another rep or two if my head didn't run low on oxygen. I felt a little sick and my lungs burned for awhile after the HS set. It may have been some sports induced asthma (which I actually forgot I have, but my wife mentioned it to me today, lol), but it usually didn't affect me too much in the past while lifting because I usually kept my reps low. It feels kinda like I have a cold or flu coming on tonight, so that may have something to do with it. I dosed 3 CreO2 2 hrs. pre-wo, 3 Carnage 10 min. pre-wo and 3 20 min. pwo.

I think its either my training or, more likely, the caloric deficit. I say this because I have made great strength gains on CKD in the past. Thanks for the help!

ahhhh i see i see. . . well U have quite a diet mapped out know i see whats up!! YEEAAAAHHH!!!! I know u'll have a good work out today!
I appreciate the encouragement.

Inc. DB Bench: 100 x 9/2/0(SH) = 11 rp
Machnie OH Press: 230 x 12/4/3 = 19 rp
Cable rope grip tri ext.: 120 x 12/5/3 = 20 rp
WG Cable Pulldown: 200 x 13/5/3 = 21 rp +10 lbs. -3 reps
Abs: 3 sets swiss ball
20 min. LI cardio (stationary bike)

Lifting went well, considering I was sick last week and had to move this weekend (while recovering). I liked the machine oh press, DBs are getting to heavy to work with while rest-pausing without a spotter. HR seemed even lower while doing cardio (keeping pace at least as fast as last time). Dosed 3 CreO2 30 min. pre-wo, 3 Carnage 30 pre-wo & 3 20 min. pwo. It seems I am not getting as tingley as I did when I started Carnage, which I don't mind. I am planning on going to Judo tonight, so I will give an update on that later.

i hate moving, don't particularly like being sick much either, lol. hang in there.

11/10 Judo

Judo went very well. My throws felt relatively fluent and my stamina was markedly improved. The main throw I practiced was Harai Goshi, seen here:

Workout went very well, made some nice increases in weight in HS and DL. I think I like dosing CreO2 ~2 hrs. pre-wo. I dosed CreO2 about 140 min. pre-wo, and 3 Carnage 40 min. pre-wo and 3 pwo.

So your dosing both servings of Carnage pre-wo?

So your dosing both servings of Carnage pre-wo?

i'm dosing 3 carnage pre work out than another 2 pre work out and then another 3 after work out. . . first three are dosaged and 1-1.5 hrs b4 work out another 2 30mins b4 work out and then another 3 after = 8 carnage total

12 min. HIIT Cardio (Elliptical)
Stretching

Workout was pretty intense, worked up quite a sweat. Typical depletion workout, didn't feel very strong but hopefully I tore down the glycogen. The HIIT went great, felt very easy, even when peaking my HR. This was my last workout with CreO2:sad:. I do, however, have about a week or so of Carnage left.

nice increases brutha!!! good to see your makin head way!!! Say yes to Creatine and BA baby wooo hooo!!! YOur in the ZOne baby!!

HS SL Calf Raise: 90 x 15/7/5 rp
Cable Crunches: 120x 12, 140 x 12, 10

Decided to go a little heavier on HS today - felt good. I didn't get as many reps as I hoped for on DL, but not by much. Quads were pumped as sh*t after leg extensions, I did some stretching right after and it really got the blood flowing to them (I only lasted about 40 sec. on the stretch). Dosed 3 Carnage 20 min. pre-wo and 3 10 min. pwo.

I'm beginning to sound like a broken record, but I did not make it to Judo yesterday - I was up late working on Theory of Computation homework.

keep hittin it brutha!!! WOOO HOOO!!! booom. . . how was the weekend. and everyone needs a lil bit or LIBIDO CHECK hahaha :jaw: Invalid Link Removed

Short workout today, I was in a time crunch, so it was pretty fast paced. My chest is still stuck, but made some progress on other lifts.

good man!! haha I'm on fira!!! ahhhhhh ahhaha

11/20 Lower Body Depletion
weight: 198 (pwo)

DB Lunge: 45x12,9,8
Leg Curl: 140x12/5/3 rp
Hang Clean: 135x10, 145x10, 155x10
Sit. Calf Ext: 350 x 17/10/7 rp
BB Iso Curl: 90 x 12/5/3 rp
Cable Crunches: 3 sets (weight irrelevant because used different cable machine)
Cable Uchi Komi: 3 sets various throws
10 min. HIIT (sprints)

Had plenty of energy and felt relatively strong, which is odd for a depletion (maybe I wasn't fully depleted). Clean's are feeling rather light, going to bump them up next time. Its been awhile since DB lunges, so they tore me up. I felt like I do more sprints, but my time constraint stopped me from doing so. Bi's had nice pump after rp set. Today I dosed Carnage 2 in the morning, 2 20 min. pre-wo, and 2 10 min. pwo.

i would be curious to see what your workouts will look like a week after stopping carnage/cre02 if diet and other conditions remain the same. i can't help thinking the supps were helping more than you think, jmo.

11/22
It was raining like crazy outside, so I ran the stairs in my apt. for about 20 minutes. Dosed 3 Carnage in the morning and 3 about 20 min. before workout.

11/23 Upper Body

DB Bench: 115 x 8/4/3 rp +15 reps
Mach. OH Press: 250 x 13/5/1 rp +10 lbs. -3 reps

Cable Row: 140 x 15/7/4 rp +10 lbs.
Cable Crunches: 140x12, 150x12, 10

My bench made some nice progress:woohoo:. My tris had a nice pump throughout the workout. I bumped my cals up a bit the past few days. Dosed 2 Carnage morning, 2 pre-wo, 2 pwo.

Oh ya!!! Looking good!!! LOOKING GOOD!!! HOw have things been my friend!!! Looks like i haven't missed to much since i was gone!!! IT's almost time for me to end my stint with MST!!! DOH!!

You may be correct, my cals were pretty low there for awhile and I managed to hold on to most of my strength and even made progress with many lifts. It will be hard to judge since I am starting to bump my cals up a bit (but still at or below maintenance).

Thanks man, I have been super busy with school, so I haven't been able to make it to Judo much, which really sucks - but I have made all my lifting sessions. Its been a great ride though, MST is top notch.

Cable Crunch: 140x15, 150x12, 10
BB Iso Curl: 90 x 14/5/3 rp +2 reps
15 min. HIIT

This was a psuedo depletion workout, my gym is closed for the weekend so I figured I would start carb loading today (it is Thanksgiving weekend after all). Felt pretty strong, accidentally loaded the T-Bar lighter than I meant to (last time I did 255x12), so I just went until failure (with static hold). After lifting I did some HIIT on elliptical to try to toast as much glycogen as possible.
Last day on Carnage:sad:. I had 8 caps left, so I dosed 2 morning, 3 pre-wo, and 3 pwo. My final review will be up soon, I just need to take some "after pics".

ME 2 good work my friend i'll be posting them right there with ya brutha!!!

Very sorry for the long delay, the last couple weeks of school became super heavy (I made it to the gym twice in the past 2 weeks). My last final is tomorrow, so look for my final review tomorrow evening sometime.

Final Review

Final Review:
First of all I would like to apologize for my lack of judo (which I was really looking forward to doing a lot of) and the delay for getting this review in, school tends to rob me of my livelihood, lol. I had not previously tried any endurance enhancing supps in the past besides BA, so this was new to me. Also, it is paramount to know that I was in a caloric deficit throughout the log and my stress levels were at an all time high. So:

Strength: 9.5/10
I made strength gains (or at least maintained) on all my lifts, which is awesome whilst being in caloric deficit.

Cardiovascular Endurance: 9.5/10
Both muscular and cardiovascular endurance improved. I was able to perform at a higher intensity longer than I previously could. My HR decreased 5-10 bpm on average when doing cardio. My stamina has always been a bottleneck in my overall performance for judo, so this was wonderful.

Pumps: 8/10
Pumps are hit or miss for me, with or without supps. However, there were times that I had some very nice pumps, even on some depletion days.

Muscular Endurace: 9/10
The main difference was the decrease in lactic acid burn when doing higher rep sets, which allowed me to squeeze out an extra rep or 2 on some lifts. The stack was slightly more effective than BA alone in this category.

Sides: 10/10
None, nada, zip! This is one wonderful aspect of effective natural supps, you get the gains without the crappy side effects.

These products are very potent in terms of positive effects. The strength gains seem to creep up on you, I made gains almost every session on some lifts (though small each time, it adds up!). MST is known for producing quality supps, and my experience reaffirms this reputation.

Awesome review buddy....I really appreciate you getting it up with all the tough times with school and such. Thanks for running a quality log for us!

Thanks guys, I'm still trying to link those pics up - the file permissions of my directory on the web server I am using seem to be fubar.

Finally got pics up - my school's web server admins took their time. The before and afters were taken at different houses (I moved during the log), so lighting is quite different:sad:.
