Torn Meniscus

The Meniscus is unable to heal on it's own due to poor blood supply.

That being said, would HGH or IGF-1 have any impact on this injury before / after surgery?

CE, I would have to say yes to GH. The menisci are cartilagenous and GH is known to have positive growth/regrowth effects on this tissue.

Dr. Ross Hauser, MD injects GH into the joint to speed healing of "ACUTE MENISCAL TEAR" (Invalid Link Removed)

Also, here's a link to a physician that uses IAGH (stem cell regrowth) to regrow joint cartilage.

The IAGH process rejuvenates adult blood vessels in your joint to form fetal vessels. These fetal vessels produce your own (Autologous) stem cells which then form cartilage cells (Chondrocytes). These new cartilage cells produce a new cartilage surface in your joint. This process has been published in a peer reviewed scientific journal.

Thanks bro! That's gold.

Check out PRP (platelette rich plasma) injections. I'm trying to figure out a way to centrifuge my own blood, draw out the prp, and reinject into soft tissue injuries (w/o buying expensive equipment).
