The Meniscus is unable to heal on it's own due to poor blood supply.


That being said, would HGH or IGF-1 have any impact on this injury before / after surgery?
 
CE, I would have to say yes to GH. The menisci are cartilagenous and GH is known to have positive growth/regrowth effects on this tissue.

Check out PRP (platelette rich plasma) injections. I'm trying to figure out a way to centrifuge my own blood, draw out the prp, and reinject into soft tissue injuries (w/o buying expensive equipment).
